O arco foi nomeado em homenagem ao poeta armênio Yeghishe Charents.
O templo pagão Garni foi construído no século I dC pelo rei armênio Trdat. O templo Garni é o único monumento que se conecta com a era do paganismo e helenismo, dedicado ao deus sol Mitra.
A "Sinfonia das Pedras" no desfiladeiro de Garni refere-se a uma fascinante formação geológica localizada perto da vila de Garni, na Armênia. Esta maravilha natural consiste em imponentes colunas de basalto que se erguem do fundo do cânion, lembrando um grande arranjo sinfônico de pilares de pedra.
O Mosteiro Geghard foi construído no século IV pelos primeiros católicos armênios - Gregório, o iluminador. Inicialmente foi chamado Airivank (mosteiro da caverna), em seguida, foi renomeado Geghard, o que significa. O nome do mosteiro origina-se da lança do soldado romano que perfurou o corpo de Jesus Cristo.

Kristin and her driver took us - family of 4 - on a half-day trip. Very worthwhile, we can truly recommend it. Kristin is so kind and a walking encyclopaedia, you can ask her anything. A crash course in Armenian cultural history :) It felt luxurious that it qas just us, so we didnt have to rush. Great car too, very comfy and safe.
I used it with a plan without a guide (driver only). The driver (sorry, I forgot your name) was very good at English and was very kind to me, stopping on requests etc. along the way. The Garni Temple, Garni Valley and Gehard Monastery were all great. If you are going to Armenia, you should definitely see these! I had a great day thanks to you.

This wonder of nature is stunning beauty and most visited natural monuments in Armenia, located in Garni Gorge on the right bank of river Azat, this huge geological formation is the result of powerful volcanic eruptions that took place more than 125000 years ago, these basalt rock formations resembles organ musical instrument and amazing. There is an admission ticket to enter this place.

We were very happy with this trip! Our amazing guide was so kind, and answered all our questions during the day. She spoke fluent English, and gave us the perfect amount of facts for each place we visited. We were given the option to eat lavash that was made directly in front of us, which we of course said yes to! An absolutely amazing experience! After the tour, we asked if we could be driven to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, instead of being returned back to our hotel. This was no problem, and we could check off another sightseeing spot 😊 Would highly recommend this tour!

We took the private tour without guide to garni and gerghard. We were already informed about not being able to visit symphony of stones due to weather conditions. Artur was an excellent driver and he navigated the snow filled roads smoothly and ensured we reached the two sites. However on the backend side of the tour, there is room for improvement as we didn’t get clear information whether our tour is entirely on or cancelled due to the weather.

Good solution to visit the main sites of Armenia in one day, mixing nature and history, with comfortable pick-up/drop-off at the hotel and private driver.
