"Echmiadzin Cathedral (literalmente tradução: A descendência do único nascido) é o centro da igreja apostólica armênia originalmente construída no início do século 3 aC e várias fontes também afirmam que Etchmiadzin é a igreja cristã oficial mais antiga em todo o mundo. Esta é a sua chance de visitar e explorar um lugar tão único e único no mundo! A igreja de St. Hripsime é dedicada a uma das 40 virgens que escaparam do Império Romano. Igreja de Saint Gayane é uma basílica de três naves com cúpula, nomeada ainda por outra das virgens que escaparam de Roma e onde mais tarde tornou-se um santo da Igreja Apostólica Armênia. As ruínas do templo Zvartnots representam uma obra-prima arquitetônica verdadeiramente única - 3 histórias de cúpula circular. O Mosteiro de Geghard ou Ayrivank é um importante monumento arquitetônico, histórico e religioso na Armênia.

Você visitará a igreja de St. Hripsime, que foi construída no sepulcro de uma freira cristã Hripsime que fugiu do Império Romano e foi morta na Armênia. Este incrível edifício está de pé desde o dia de sua construção desde 618 d.C., tornando-se uma das igrejas mais antigas do mundo.

5 minutos de carro é a próxima parada: a igreja do século 7 de St. Gayane. Gayane foi a babá de Hripsime e compartilhou o trágico destino de Hripsime.
Vamos fazer uma parada em outro belo templo do século VII, também incluído na lista de património da UNESCO. Segundo a lenda, o nome "Zvartnots" significa "anjos celestiais", inspirado na crença de que os anjos uma vez vigilavam sobre o templo.
O complexo monástico de Geghard, Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO, é outro local histórico incluído nesta excursão privada. O nome "Geghard" deriva da lança (geghard) que se diz ter perfurado o lado de Jesus Cristo, que foi alojado no mosteiro por muitos anos. O Mosteiro de Geghard é considerado um dos locais religiosos mais significativos da Armênia. A parte mais surpreendente é que esta igreja é cortada para dentro da rocha sólida.
Garni Gorge é uma incrível atração natural localizada na Armênia, perto da aldeia de Garni. Perfect booking process. Contacting them was easy through the portal or WhatsApp. All questions regarding the tour were answered more or less immediately. Our driver Rafael was punctual to the minute in front of our hotel and safely chauffeured us through the day with his relaxed and considerate driving style. This time, I asked for a driver, not a guide. The driver, Mr. Armand, was very kind and taught me a lot about Armenia. We didn't have a common language, so we communicated through apps, but we had no problem communicating. Excellent tour. The guide was highly knowledgeable and gave us an in depth overview of the history behind the sights. It was also a plus that there was a separate driver besides the guide.

Srbuhi (Sana), my guide, was very professional, polite and well informed. My driver, Suren, was also professional and drove safely through areas that had snow in the ground. He was cautious which was welcomed. The pace of the tour was just right to allow full enjoyment of the sites we visited. I am deducting one star since I was a bit disappointed at the head office that wouldn't arrange for the return of my hat that was left in the car. I didn’t think it would be such a big deal to have someone drop it off at my hotel on their way to another tour. Perhaps, as a regular traveler, I was expecting for a bit more post-tour customer service. I bought a new hat😃

We had a great tour and visited some wonderful sites. Our driver, Arsen, was excellent and drove us around safely and comfortably throughout the trip.
