This is one of the worst tour companies I’ve ever traveled. I’m referring strictly to customer service and management (the tour guide and the tour itself was decent). I arrived about 20 minutes early to the meetup location and the bus was nowhere to be seen. Upon reaching out to the tour company on WhatsApp, they said that they messaged me last night about a change in the pickup location. However, I didn’t get any messages (I proved this to them step by step through logic of deduction). They kept insisting that I’m mistaken, and said I should take a taxi to the right place. I asked for compensation as it’s 100% their fault I’m in this situation, and they refused. No accountability. Upon arrival to the new pickup location, other guests confirmed they got an email for the location change at around 1am in the morning, a joke to begin with (many guests did not see this email as expected and didn’t show up at the new pickup location). To make clear, I check my emails religiously and did not have an email either way. After running through the guest list, it was discovered that I wasn’t even on the list. A master class on incompetence on display from this tour company. I reported this back to customer service on WhatsApp and instead of addressing this or offering an apology or compensation, they simply decided to ghost me with no further messages. Avoid this tour company like the plague.
Good experience overall. Good price. Length of visit is good but most stops are very rushed and you don't really have much time to explore anything. Atmosphere was fine. Crowd size good. Staff friendly and helpful. Lunch was horrible. Spending one week in Armenia, it was the only bad meal I experienced. Better to take a sandwich from the supermarket.
It was good, and the tourguide is very energetic. However, there is nobody is yhere when we arrive the the lavash making area.
I was fortunate to visit the Temple of Garni on a beautiful day starting from Yerevan, and it was truly a remarkable stop. The temple, the only example of Hellenistic-Roman architecture remaining in Armenia, is located in a beautiful panoramic position, surrounded by mountains and natural gorges that make the atmosphere even more special. The archaeological site is not very large, so it can be visited comfortably in about half an hour, but it is absolutely worth a stop both for its historical value and for the landscape that surrounds it. It is especially recommended on sunny days when the colors of the stone and the scenery make the place even more enchanting.
Very exciting journey with memorable stops and incredible views. Also good guide with knowledge of the history of the various places. Would strongly recommend to visitors.
Great tour, very good guide. It took longer then planned, but totally worth it. Garni temple is amazing, if you are into mithology.
Was an amazing trip lead by our guide, Ana. She was absolutely great, explaining and taking care of us all the time. The places visited were very interesting, bit crowded though and is better to come prepared with some cash as will save you time. Ana took us to a restaurant in Garni for lunch where the food was homemade exactly like I was expecting. When we arrive back to Yerevan, Ana was helping us to get a taxi to drive us to the hotel. Cannot praise enough such kind soul and experienced guide who was teaching us not only about the places visited but the history of Armenia as well.
Private driver, no guide. Driver didn't speak much English but translator app worked fine. Great time. Enjoyed the baking lavash demonstration and trying the cheese and greens. Very good. Leaving at 10 am we seemed to arrive destinations ahead of other tour groups. Driver made trip unforgettable. Will definitely try more trips like this in future.
well organised, on time, nice guide, enough time for everything, good driver and a pleasant restaurant to eat
