A viagem até a grande baía de Fazayah, cerca de 80 km a oeste de Salalah, já é divertida, porque a rota passa pela praia de Mughsail até as curvas fechadas nos flancos de Wadi Afawl e até as alturas de Jebel Qamar. Lá em cima, você se sente um pouco como o mirante no mastro de um veleiro: brisa do mar e uma visão desobstruída para o horizonte, só que também há as falésias íngremes e rochosas com suas formações bizarras. Um caminho íngreme, mas bom, leva a várias pequenas e grandes praias de areia. Agora é a hora perfeita para vestir a roupa de banho e mergulhar nas ondas do Oceano Índico.
Descendo das montanhas, você seguirá para o oeste até a popular Mughsail. A primeira parada é a bela praia de areia, salpicada de gazebos e palmeiras para quem quiser descansar na sombra enquanto ouve as ondas. As montanhas chegam muito perto do oceano nesse ponto e proporcionam vistas magníficas.
Outra vista em destaque em Mughsail são os respiradouros, onde a água do mar força seu caminho através da rocha, atingindo até 28 m de altura na alta temporada. A maré alta durante Khareef traz as melhores vistas, mas o fenômeno pode ser observado nas marés altas durante todo o ano. Entre a praia e os espiráculos passará pela lagoa, refúgio para as aves que migram entre África e Europa ou Ásia.
A parada final a oeste será Masood Beach, uma bela praia de areia branca, tão bem escondida nas montanhas, que alguns chamam de "praia escondida". A viagem de volta a Salalah incluirá uma vista das famosas árvores de incenso e em muitos pontos ao longo da viagem você pode ter a chance de ver camelos ou outros animais de Dhofar.

This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Salalah. We had a great day with our guide Azuz who was really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and took great care of us. The beaches were stunning and the views breathtaking. An unforgettable experience! My grandma and I had the pleasure of joining the Salalah West tour and it was absolutely breathtaking. The highlight of our day was undoubtedly the Hidden Beach. I had the pleasure of going on this trip alone with Abdulaziz as my tour guide and has now become a friend of mine. He was patient, knowledgeable, accommodating and has a good sense of humor. We went to Mughsail Beach, Marnif Cave, Hidden Beach, Blow Holes and Fazayah Beach. The highlight was Fazzayah Beach. I enjoyed the drive down the mountains and the water is absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking. Abdulaziz gave me time to dip my feet in the water and sat patiently waiting for me allowing me to indulge to the maximum. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Salalah and especially ask for Abdulaziz to be your tour guide 😊 My only concern was the poor bathroom facilities in Salalah but this was no fault of the tour company. However Abdulaziz always tried his best to find alternative ways for me to use the restroom. Thanks again for an amazing tour and look forwarding to visiting Salalah again in the near future.

I highly recommend this tour! I spent a great afternoon in breathtaking settings. Small tip for the beach: get ready for the beautiful waves and take a board! The guide I had already done the eastern part of Salalah with was really great: accommodating, friendly and really keen to share his culture.

West tour, June 2 Thanks to the guide, we visited such beautiful places: Moogsail Beach, Marnif Cave, Hidden Beach, Holes, Fazaia Beach. These are the best beaches we have ever seen 😍 We had the best guide. Finding a good guide is very important, because thanks to him there was an impression of the journey and the country. We could see the beautiful seaside in Salalah. My guide Abdul took us the several places in half day. His time management skill is professional. He knows well what time we should go to each place. We could have time to swim in the beautiful sea, and I was impressed that we could see many nature camels there. Thank you so much for your long driving and for giving us great memories.
