O Gateway of India é um monumento em arco construído durante o século XX em Mumbai, Índia. O monumento foi erguido para comemorar o desembarque do Rei-Imperador George V e da Rainha-Imperatriz Mary em Apollo Bunder em sua visita à Índia em 1911. Construído no estilo indo-sarracênico, a pedra fundamental do Gateway of India foi lançada em 31 de março de 1911. A estrutura é um arco feito de basalto, com 26 metros (85 pés) de altura. We got a great car and walking tour of the must see spots in Mumbai. Our guides showed us several things not in guide books. They knew about the architecture and history of well known landmarks as well as some obscure gems. Later in the day we visited elephanta caves. Manoj was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history of the caves. We learned about each sculpture, things we would not have picked up on without someone to show us. In addition, he knew all the cool spots to catch a break from the heat. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend him as a guide!

Our guide was absolutely wonderful. She was very kind, caring, and attentive throughout the whole trip.
