Great diving experience, and snorkeling for our friends who didn't dive. Thanks to Stefania for guiding us on these 2 beautiful dives Staff of the boat very attentive, whether for diving or service on board.
We booked this experience specifically for a private guided dive, and that was the deciding factor in our booking. Prior to arrival, we were clear that we wanted a private guide so we could dive shallow and at our own pace. Once on the boat, we were told there was no private guide arranged and were introduced to additional requirements that were never disclosed before booking. We were also informed that even if we paid extra for a refresher, we would still be required to dive with a group, not privately, and to depths we had already said we were not comfortable with. As a result, we were forced into intro-style dives (very shallow, short, and highly restricted - we had to hold hands with the instructor - I have my AOW with 30 dives. And to depths of 3-4Ms), which is a completely different experience than what we paid for. This was frustrating, as comparable intro dives are available locally for a much lower price. The organizer explained afterward that “private” does not mean private for certified divers unless additional conditions are met. Had this been explained upfront, we would have booked a different option. Here are verbatim WhatsApp messages we got sent after we voiced our displease “The private guide is meant to go with beginners as one on one This is the law in Egypt But you're not beginners So you can dive within a group of your level not higher If the group are higher than your level, they should stick to the safest which is 18 meters max But if every customer comes and wants a private guide, they pay extra for it because they're blocking the availability of the boat seats This is why we usually have an instructor to go with each level and others who go with beginners (the easiest dives) Some customers also get confused and ask for a private boat too. It's common But when anyone asks me a question, I clarify everything as I mentioned to you” So apparently private guide is only for beginners. Be aware.

We are sorry that the experience with our company did not meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify important points about the experience with our company to provide clarity for future readers. First, transportation: The hotel you stayed at (Kaisol Romance Sahl Hashish) was far from where we normally pick people up (Hurghada city). As stated on the Viator listing, if you stay in places like Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna, or Makadi, you have to pay extra for transportation. This surcharge was explained in advance and clearly mentioned in the trip listing description; however, this cost was not included in the requested compensation. Additional compensation for your trip was later requested. When it comes to refunds, we gave a refund after the trip. We showed all the costs, like transportation and fees from companies, so everything was clear. The refund was the most we could give, so this represented the maximum refund possible after costs, and it was explicitly accepted at the time. All platform commissions were still paid in full, as required. Requests for further compensation were made only after this agreement. With respect to the dive itself, it was communicated beforehand that the dive would be conducted by one of our certified instructors. All safety-related decisions are made by the assigned certified instructor. This includes how deep you go, who is watching out for you, and what the plan is for the dive. The instructor is responsible for dive planning and supervision because that is what international safety standards say. The scuba diving instructor has to follow these rules to keep everyone safe. While you stated that you are a certified diver, it has been a long time since you dove (closer to a year). This classifies you as inactive under the rules of WRSTC and PADI. As a result, close supervision was required and could not go very deep. You were given the chance to take a refresher course. You decided not to. The dive therefore followed beginner-level safety conditions... Even so, you were still able to go privately on the dive with the instructor even though you had not dived in a time, and the instructor maintained continuous supervision during this requested private dive. It is also important to note that specific depth requests were never communicated directly to the instructor on board. Dive planning must always be discussed with the instructor and approved by the instructor before you get in the water. Dive planning is something that needs to be talked about with the instructor, and the instructor has to say it is okay before you enter the water. In summary: A private dive was provided. Safety standards were followed without exception, which means the safety standards were really important to us. These standards cannot be compromised. A good-faith refund was issued and accepted. All terms were disclosed in advance and reconfirmed on site. Comparisons with other operators are not applicable. The reason is that different companies have ways of keeping people safe, and they also have different costs and ways of doing things. This is because each company is unique, and they do things their way, so comparisons with lower-priced options are not applicable for the safety protocols, cost structures, and service models of different operators. We always try to make sure that our diving experiences are safe for everyone. We understand that you have your thoughts on this matter. However, when it comes to safety rules, we cannot make any exceptions. We are unable to offer further compensation because we think that was a fair thing to do at the time. Safety is a part of diving experiences at our company, so we have to follow the safety regulations for diving experiences. We wish you safe and enjoyable dives in the future.
Very good service, the instructor, Ali Luka is very competant and caring. The area of diving was very well placed. A lot to see and learn. A very giving experiance.
The scuba diving tour was a great experience. I didn’t expect such a wide variety of colorful corals and fish. I really enjoyed each dive, I had two in total, together with my instructor, Ali. He made it an unforgettable experience, and I always felt safe under his guidance. Ali was so kind to take underwater pictures and videos with his action cam but you can also bring your own waterproof camera and take a few shots. However, you should mainly enjoy the underwater magic of Hurghada. I will definitely come back one day and do it again. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to gain their first scuba diving experience and see many beautiful corals and fish.
Luka is the best, gave clear instructions easy to understand. Very professional and patient with us as this was our first experience, made us really comfortable. Highly recommend him 100 percent!
Despite the fact that the 1st time did not go well (I was not picked up and by the time the right person was found the boat had just left) the day was moved to another date without any problems and since it was 2 hotels further I walked there. Once there, everything was well arranged with the security on which we were allowed to enter the hotel. Even for men weighing 141 kg, they have the right equipment! I already have experience with diving but my last dive had been 17 years before, so I got a good refresher course on the boat and I had 2x a great dive where someone is constantly with him and helps you. Food was delicious and everyone was super friendly.
I did a course with luka was alot of fun and a really amazing experience. Learned alot about scuba diving and techniques to get better.
Salem was full of divers. Despite it our dive gide did the best. Thanks to Ali*Luka for short briefing, smart dive plan, safety and relax diving.
It was a wonderful underwater experience with Luka. He explained all the rules patiently and professionally. We felt safe!
We had an amazing time with Luka. I was very scared and nervous and he had so patience with me and as the end I managed to to dive 👍🏻 My son enjoyed so much, we always felt comfortable and the overall experience is very much recommended.
