Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I reached out on Airbnb while planning a surprise proposal—something I had spent months organizing as a foreigner trying to navigate logistics in Italy. Instead of offering help, I was accused of “using AI,” called lazy, and spoken to with a level of arrogance that was completely unwarranted. Worse, the information I was given was simply wrong. I later confirmed that Giardino Bardini does allow photography with a permit—something a local professional should either know or be willing to verify. Rather than correcting or assisting, they dismissed the inquiry entirely and then blocked me before I could even respond. That alone says a lot about how they handle clients. For someone charging €350+, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy is unacceptable. I found other photographers in Florence who were not only more reasonably priced, but also far more knowledgeable and respectful. If you value clear communication and professionalism, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Olesia, our photographer, was great. She gave us lots of hints and tips on posing and really worked with us throughout our session. She showed us some of the images as we progressed through our session, and it’s clear she gives her photography a lot of thought. Great compositions. I’m looking forward to selecting my favorites. The experience was great—taking us to several spots we probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise. A wonderful experience! I encourage anyone to book a session with Olesia!

Olesia is a true professional. It’s very difficult taking family photos with grandparents, parents, a one year old and two year old but she was able to capture so many wonderful photos despite our toddler trying to ruin them all! Do not hesitate to book her. She is very kind and understanding too (bus was late, no taxis so we were ten minutes late) and we had to adjust the time due to rain. Photos turned out absolutely stunning and they were ready the next day!!

Olesia took our photos while we were on vacation in Florence and we had the best experience! She was prepared for everything with fans, Kleenex, etc, and knew the best locations. She told us exactly how to stand/pose, and I can’t believe how wonderful the pictures are! The only downside is that I can’t decide which images I want to enlarge. I’m truly so happy with all of them.

Olesia is the best photographer I have ever met. We were very nervous because we feel uncomfortable in front of the camera and have always struggled to connect with photographers—even at our own wedding. We were truly surprised by how Olesia guided us through everything. She paid attention to every detail—our outfits, hair, and even the position of our hands and feet. Yet, the photos looked so natural, and we looked more beautiful than we ever expected. This experience exceeded all my expectations. I will definitely do another shoot with her on my next trip to Florence. I only wish she had been the photographer at my wedding! We received around 1,000 photos, selected the best ones ourselves, and now our home is decorated with these masterpieces.
