You see pictures of the Duomo online, but standing beneath that massive dome is something else entirely. This timed ticket got us in right when the lighting was perfect. The audio guide was a fantastic companion, letting me wander and snap incredible photos while learning about the genius art design.
Fast entrance? Yes. Clear audio guide? Yes. Incredible history? Absolutely. Palazzo Vecchio is a masterpiece, and this ticket option is simply the most efficient way to see it without getting bogged down in tourist traffic.
Easy. Uncomplicated. Get your ticket outside through Viator and they take you inside. You need WiFi and phone for audio guide. I'm glad I took earphones with, otherwise you have to listen on your phone. Walk through palace at your own pace.

Basically, you are paying for someone to buy your ticket. If you arrive early, at 9 AM you can buy your own ticket and go inside without crowds and no need to pay the additional fee for having someone buying it for you. The girl was late, it was at 9:10 and she got there around 9:20 (I actually went inside to ask for information and saw her in line getting the tickets) once she gave us the tickets, she asked us to download an audio guide and took us inside to go upstairs. What she failed to tell us was that the first 12 minutes of the audio guide were for the downstairs area, so it took a while to figured that out, and once upstairs, you had to finish the tour to go back downstairs. Also, the audio guide was not in order with the tour, the order of the rooms inside were not aligned with the audio. Overall messy and unorganized. Buy your tickets directly with the venue and use their own audio guide.
Please note that tickets for Palazzo Vecchio are often sold out in advance, especially during peak periods. If you do not book ahead, there is no guarantee that tickets will be available on the day of your visit, even if you arrive early. Our service includes securing your reservation in advance and providing assistance with ticket collection and access. The host was helpful in providing the ticket and access to the visiting app, which was useful for navigating the palace. Unfortunately, there was an event taking place in the Salone dei Cinquecento, so this room could not be visited. In addition, the suggested route in the app could not be fully followed, and some rooms had to be skipped. Overall, access was smooth, but the visit itself was somewhat limited due to these restrictions.

The Palazzo Vecchio is quite amazing with a fascinating history as both a municipal structure and as a residence. Some of the rooms are stunning, with very intricate and detailed ceilings.
The audio app was disjointed and difficult to follow. The guide ushered us through the back entrance which was easy.

Not great. Guide was late. Had to call them twice. Was about to buy normal Entry tickets before found her outside.
Our guide was present at the meeting point and the service was provided as booked. We understand there may have been some difficulty locating the guide at first, however the clients were successfully assisted before purchasing other tickets.
Easy entrance. A rainy Sunday so really no long line but Viator rep was there. These museums require you have data on your phones to download the audio guide. That’s the only downside but we navigates just fine without the guide. There was free WiFi inside.
