Graças à sua posição elevada, Fiesole sempre foi um dos locais mais procurados pelos florentinos e turistas para apreciar a vista sobre Florença e o vale do Arno, mas também para contemplar a maravilhosa paisagem toscana que rodeia a aldeia. Fiesole fica a apenas 6,4 km do centro de Florença, mas fora da cidade, o que o torna o melhor ponto de partida para realmente explorar a zona rural da Toscana sem se afastar muito da cidade, mas longe de lugares lotados.
A cidade de Fiesole, no topo da colina, oferece vistas panorâmicas de Florença, longe das multidões. A cidade renascentista e todos os seus vibrantes telhados e torres de terracota são tão visíveis no topo de Fiesole, como se você estivesse na Piazzale Michelangelo, em Florença, só que com muito menos pessoas admirando sua vista deslumbrante.

Dependendo da estação, chegaremos a um mosteiro ainda habitado por monges a uma altitude de mais de 800m (2600ft). Cruzaremos o caminho da Via degli dei, a antiga Via Flaminia Minor, a estrada etrusca que atravessou as montanhas dos Apeninos pelo menos 200 anos a.C., hoje popular histórico e passeio turístico panorâmico.
Dependendo da estação, chegaremos a Settignano e a casa da infância do Michelangelo, onde o jovem Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni cresceu e aprimorou suas habilidades.

- É necessário um mínimo de 2 participantes (excluindo o líder do passeio). Existe a possibilidade de cancelamento após confirmação caso não haja participantes suficientes. Caso isso ocorra, você receberá um reembolso alternativo ou total.
- Nossa empresa se reserva o direito de negar o passeio de bicicleta a indivíduos, adultos e crianças, que não são capazes de andar de bicicleta com segurança. Em caso de tais circunstâncias, todo o valor do passeio será retido e não haverá possibilidade de reembolso.

- A ligação entre Fiesole e o centro de Florença é muito conveniente, mesmo de ônibus público. 7 dias por semana o ônibus (número 7, Autolinee Toscane - AT), preço de bilhete urbano € 1,70, parte a cada 15 minutos e chega ao outro local em menos de 20 minutos (a última viagem de Fiesole para Florença é às 01:00 am). A paragem de Fiesole é a última da rota de ônibus. Os bilhetes devem ser validados uma vez embarcados.

This was an incredible breathtaking tour in the hills of Tuscany. There are many climbs on the bike and so I recommend it for people with a little bit experience navigating hills and downhills. Giovanni our guide was incredible. Friendly and helpful assuring we had a safe and superb time! The lunch was delicious and refreshing. Highly recommend.
Giovanni is an excellent guide. Upon meeting he made sure the helmets were fitting correctly and that everyone was comfortable on their bike. The first part of the tour was around Fiesole itself with lots of information on the history, and then we got onto the roads in the area. He was always checking that everyone was OK and indicated to us when there was a hill coming up (likewise going down) so that we could adjust our gears accordingly. we stopped off at a wee market and were given hunks of local cheese to try (even being a non-cheese lover I could tell it was good) We then stopped at a farm shop to pick up the ingredients for lunch, then cycled on to another farm - our lunch venue where wine was taken straight from the vat. Giovanni then prepared lunch for us and when finished we completed our tour back to the start. it was a full morning (+lunch), so well worth the money. I would thoroughly recommend Giovanni - this is more than a tour, you feel his passion and love for the area.ac
What an amazing experience, top to bottom! First and foremost, Giovanni is a true gem! He takes such great care to ensure you are having a good time, that you are safe and that everything is as planned. I have done tons of bike tours in various Countries, he was the best guide I have ever had. Then the bike ride is amazing, and a great getaway from the City with tons of beautiful scenery. Finally, the farm lunch is delicious and unbelievably picturesque. 10 out of 10 across the board!!
This was the absolute highlight of a trip that was already filled with amazing experiences. Giovani is an excellent guide who takes a lot of care to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. He is native to the area and well educated on the history of all the places he takes you. You always hear how beautiful the Tuscan countryside is, but no photos can ever do it justice. It is truly a magical place and seeing it outside by bike is so much better than just driving. The stops at the farm and winery were pleasant and peaceful - and the food was very fresh and satisfying without being too heavy. The e-bikes were high quality and made it possible to travel comfortably on the very hilly terrain. One thing to know is that even though the e-bikes help a *lot*, and Giovani builds in regular breaks - the tour is still a significant workout and the bikes must be pedaled. You don’t need to be an athlete at all, but you do need to be generally healthy and fit to complete the ride. But otherwise, you should not hesitate to book this tour. It is incredible and worth every dime!
We loved our day with Giovanni. The trip was filled with very interesting history of the different sites. The country side was beautiful and the lunch and tour of the farm was so cool. Thank you Giovanni.
This was a really fun day out and away from Florence for me and my husband. Giovanni was terrific-knowledgeable and personable. He was also very prepared with extra gloves and windbreakers to make sure his guests were warm. I wish I had asked him to take photos of us along the way, but I was probably too cold to stop!
Giovanni was amazing. If you are staying in Florence and want to spend a day biking in the Tuscan Hills - it is a must. Giovanni has been giving tours for over 10 years. He has a limit of four riders per tour. When I showed up, it was just me (November) and it didn't matter. His ebikes are in great shape, he had asked my height in advance so the seat was ready to go. It was a little chilly and he had extra gloves and a windbreaker. We rode a round trip 20 miles to and from Fiesole to a monastery overlooking all over Florence and back. On the way back we stopped at a farm stand that had a to go lunch of bread, tomatoes and cheese waiting for us. We stopped at a winery to eat lunch and sample their new wines. Getting to Fiesole was easy. I took a cab from central Florence on the way there (about 15-minute ride) and the #7 bus on the way back.
A fantastic tour, we cycled through wonderful places. The local guide Francesco is friendly and helpful. The Galardi-Fattoria di Pioggiopiano is a fantastic place. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely the HIGHLIGHT of our trip… Giovanni is an incredible guide, making sure all were safe on the bike before heading out for a one-of-a-kind ride…. Breathtaking views, amazing food….. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
