Captain Phil was great! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. When we got on, I realized we were only 2/5 people on board, so I was concerned with the quality, but it was very good. I can see the only reason it wasn’t packed like the other trolley tours was that it was not too convenient to call and wait for someone to pick you up and take you to another location (you get free pick up and drop offs for the next two days). Although we appreciated this option, we often had to wait up to 15 minutes in scorching heat while we saw three competitors pick up and drop off at the same location. It wasn’t too bad at all our pick up locations, just one. I would definitely recommend this one if you like the smaller groups and don’t mind waiting for the van to arrive.

We were looking for something that would be an overall first time look of the city. It was a great tour. The driver/ guide was very knowledgeable of the city’s history and personality was great.We did not use drop off and pick up. We had a great time and would take the tour again.

I am so happy we did this trolley tour, and very glad we had Steve E. as our guide! First of all, Steve is Savannah. His family goes back generations in Savannah, so he really knows history first hand. We learned so much and saw so many things we never could have on our own. All 4 of us in my party loved this tour! I highly recommend it and hope you’re lucky enough to get Steve. Also, we were running about a minute late. I appreciate the fact the tour person called me by phone to verify we were coming. That was so kind!!

Very nice tour! A great overview of the city. The bus was comfortable and not crowded. Our driver was very interesting and gave us lots of information and great stories. He made sure we saw everything from all sides, and had lots of ideas about which places we might like to explore further on our own. He told us about the shopping areas, the museums, the parks, etc…. The added bonus of using the shuttles for two more days for free is a great perk! This tour was an excellent experience and well worth the money!

We had a great time. Our family of seven enjoyed the tour with Captain Philip who was very informative and fun. This is our second tour of Savannah and the first time with Gray Line and we will be sure to use them again when family comes to visit. We will ask for Captain Philip again as he is an amazing guide and a wealth of knowledge.
