It was quite cloudy and rained very heavily at times! Since the organizers did not want to offer an alternative date or refund the money, the flight took place anyway. We had to sign an additional form stating that we would fly around the clouds and therefore would not fly through the rain, etc. Or rather, that we would not fly back as usual... That was also ignored and they flew through it anyway! The young pilot did not really make a safe impression, as he probably just had to do what he was told. During our flight, he said barely 3-4 sentences; "that is the waterfall of JP, that is the beach of Poipu, and that is the Na Pali Coast." I would have expected significantly more content and also perhaps the question of whether everything is okay. It was written all over my partner's face that she no longer felt comfortable and was even afraid, which we also told the pilot at the end; he skillfully ignored this and did not react to it. By the way, the flight is only worth the money for the person sitting on the right, because whoever sits on the left just sees the blue sea... There were only 2 turns so that I, on the left, could also see the coast for once.
An incredible experience on this doors off tour. There could not be a better way to experience the beautiful island of Kauai. Our pilot Matt provided us fantastic views and commentary.

I highly recommend this app/tour. It was so neat and took me to places I would have never discovered on my own.
Probably the best experience to be had of Kauai, got to see all of the island focusing on important spots. Walt was very knowledgeable and operated the aircraft very smoothly. Just a side note, weather conditions can change sporadically.
Obviously the views were astounding. Not a lot of info from the pilot though but that’s just luck of the draw. My main issue was information, we were not told to bring IDENTIFICATION or warm clothes or that flip flops were prohibited. The woman at the desk blamed TripAdvisor. We had to reschedule with a $100 extra fee. If we didn’t rebook were responsible for the full charge because we didn’t have ID. Seems that if they know that this is an issue it’s just a way to get more money from you. I know the game is to gouge the tourists, but $100 to rebook is ridiculous.
Mochi, our pilot, was friendly, knowledgeable and safe. Jackie was welcoming and made sure we were fully prepared for our flight!
