Percy was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable of Belizean culture and history. The black howler monkeys were a great experience and the man who showed us around the preserve was also very friendly.

The experience was great, despite the Sanctuary suffered form the last Hurrican LISA we were able to see some baboons.

Our tour to the Baboon (howler monkey) sanctuary & Belize Zoo was everything we hoped it would be and then some. Percy, our guide, was so knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. We had our 2 year old toddler with us and Percy made sure our trip was comfortable & exciting from start to finish. Percy personally guided us through the zoo and it was obvious he has a passion for the animals, which he shared with us. It was truly one of the best and up-close-and-personal experiences we have ever had in a zoo and one we will not soon forget. We concluded our day by a visit to a great little restaurant where we enjoyed truly local cuisine, just like we had asked for. Coming from a cruise ship we had the option of booking a cruise excursion, but we are so happy we opted to book a private tour with Royal Belizean Adventures instead. We would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a more personal and local experience of the best that Belize has to offer!
