I was fortunate enough to experience tandem paragliding with the nation’s top paragliding champion, “Bold” (my paragliding pilot). The experience was a perfect blend of tranquility, relaxation, and exhilaration. I felt a sense of peace and calmness with the wind and the surrounding birds as we soared almost 1500 meters above sea level. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the use of a variometer by the pilot, Bold. This device accurately measured the rate of climb, providing me with peace of mind throughout the flight. It indicated the optimal position to “float” and how to avoid potential dangers within the air mass. Knowing that we were working harmoniously with physics rather than against it gave me a profound sense of comfort and assurance. The experience was truly remarkable, evoking a profound sense of connection with my deceased parents. It felt as if they were present with me, high above, and reunited with me once again. Booked a trip with our office for about 25 people to do tandem. It’s was an amazing experience and could not recommend it enough. As a certified skydiver I am keenly aware of safety procedures with adventure sports and Bold and his team were extremely mindful of safety the entire time. We are planning another outing this year for our office!
