Um dia de passeio dedicado à água e ao fogo, desde o desfiladeiro do rio Alcantara até o vulcão ativo mais alto da Europa. Visite o Parque Fluvial Alcantara, uma maravilhosa reserva natural entre Catania e Taormina, um lugar único com a sua Alcântara. Após esta visita, nós nos movemos para o Monte Etna e visitamos antigas crateras e fluxos de lava, cavernas vulcânicas para explorar com total segurança.

Itinerário
O trekking guiado atravessa o Parque Fluvial, local de grande interesse naturalista. Durante este agradável passeio por entre a luxuriante vegetação, poderá desfrutar de uma visita desde o cimo da ribeira de Alcântara e dos vários miradouros situados ao longo dos caminhos avistam-se vistas de extraordinária beleza. Um espetáculo único se revelará diante de seus olhos: estonteantes desfiladeiros rochosos de até 25 metros de altura divididos em dois pelo gelado rio Alcântara, os desfiladeiros de Alcântara representam uma autêntica obra-prima da natureza. Com a excursão às Gargantas de Alcântara, você poderá admirar a incrível beleza dessas profundas gargantas de origem vulcânica. As suas falésias sobranceiras ao rio salpicadas de prismas basálticos, as bizarras formações rochosas simétricas, que se formaram como resultado do arrefecimento da lava incandescente em contacto com a água gelada e os seus majestosos basaltos colunares de origem milenar constituem um encantador desfiladeiro natural de impacto extraordinário.
O passeio Etna inclui uma visita às Crateras Silvestri, localizadas perto do Refúgio Sapienza, onde você pode admirar as paisagens lunares que caracterizam a área das crateras que datam da erupção de 1892. A excursão ao Etna continua com a exploração de uma espetacular caverna de lava. Os guias irão acompanhá-lo e ser-lhe-ão fornecidos os equipamentos necessários (capacete e lanternas) para poder visitar a gruta vulcânica em total segurança.
Durante sua visita ao Etna, você se deparará com uma vista única e poderá admirar a imensa extensão do Vale do Boi, uma antiga caldeira vulcânica formada há 10.000 anos.
Ao longo do percurso poderá observar as escoadas lávicas que datam de diferentes épocas, provas reais da intensa atividade vulcânica do Etna que atravessou séculos de história como bombas vulcânicas, crateras e várias crateras laterais. Com uma caminhada entre as crateras de formação antiga e as de formação mais recente, você cruzará a área afetada pelo fluxo de lava gerado pela erupção de 1991/93 e chegará ao Refúgio Sapienza a uma altitude de 2.000 metros.
A última parada da excursão ao Etna está programada na cidade de Zafferana Etnea. Você fará uma parada em uma fazenda certificada e será oferecida uma degustação de produtos típicos Mel, azeite, teste 3 Wine, vinho Nerello Mascalese etna

We were lucky to be the only 2 participants that day... So we had an almost private tour with Daniela which was just great!!! He explained everything, from Etna, to the caves up to the Alcantara gorges!! Simply fantastic as the tour itself!! To be redone!! Simone & Aris

Tour of Etna and the Alcantara gorges accompanied by the very kind, extremely helpful and highly trained guide Aristide Tomasino. We spent a very pleasant day passing in the morning, after an exhaustive explanation during the journey, to the gorges of the three levels climbing up to the Speranza refuge near the sylvan craters where we were able to enjoy a suggestive and spectacular view. Afterwards, tasting of wines and specialties in the city of Zafferana and, in the afternoon, visit to the Alcantara gorges where we were able to visit the beautiful park and take a bath in the cold water of the river. Beautiful and memorable day, recommended.
Super recommended experience for anyone passing through the Etna area. It was fun and interesting both for the wonderful places we visited and for the passion and culture of our guide (Aristide).
