We had 8 days trip with BH Lanka Tour. Everything went well as planned. Our driver was Bathi. He gave us a lot of information about Sri Lanka. He toke care of us well during the trip. Especially, he helped us to have a good train trip experience from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. We would use BH Lanka Tour and Bathi again. We highly recommend them if you have a plan to visit Sri Lanka.

My incredibly eventful trip was made into a unique experience by my tour guide Janaka! :) He was always very helpful and gave me a lot of background information about Sri Lanka. I never felt uncomfortable or anything like that - I was alone with him. He also gave me some hints & tips that made my stay at the various attractions more enjoyable. I visited beautiful places, beaches & cities over the 7 days - I can recommend this tour to everyone! However, you shouldn't forget that you're on a tour and of course you'll be in the car a lot ;) The hotels were always clean and the people in Sri Lanka are incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you for the great insights - I will definitely travel to Sri Lanka again! :)

Bh Lanka had a beautiful tour for us, which enabled us to see all the beauty and history of Sri Lanka. Our tour guide Hisantha was an expert in the history of all the sites we toured. This was a trip of a lifetime and we will do it again one day. The hotels were exquisite!Hisantha went above and beyond throughout our trip to make sure we were happy. I'd definitely recommend him in the future!

The program was very varied, all great things to see and do. My guide showed me the culture how the people live and the different landscapes of Sri Lanka in a lovely way. Also the accommodations were very nice.

This is our first visit to Sri Lanka. The tour that we chose turned out to be more hectic than we originally anticipated. We had hoped to see all the interesting sites in one week but we now realize that is an impossible task. There are simply too many exciting activities and amazing places to see on this island. However we were fortunate to have a super efficient guide, Mr Buddika, to arrange our itinerary. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, patiently explaining the relevant information needed to enhance our vacation. His choice of accommodation and meals during our trip added to the memorable experience. We need to also thank our careful driver, Mr Dharmasiva , for ensuring we arrived at our destinations safely and punctually. The many spectacular scenery, the wonderful temples, memorials and parks in this country cannot be enjoyed in one week but we are delighted to have signed up for this tour with BH Lanka. We hope to be able to return to Sri Lanka in the near future to fully experience all the beauty of the country’s natural and historical locations, as well as the culture and people .

Sri Lanka is amazing, however 8 days is a little rushed and would recommend the longer trips to cover the same sights. Beaches in the south are brill- and the tour ended with the best hotel (Ekho surf Bentota). The train journey - was far from ideal: what was meant to be an 3h train ride turned out to be 7h in a packed and standing in a mere 4 carriage train. At the end, full of selfish instagrammars fighting and blocking the view just to get a shot for themselves. Our tour guide was Mr. Buddhika WHO WAS AMAZING! He is very knowledgable about Sri Lanka and imparted information in a very engaging and interesting way. He is not only so considerate and allowed us to flex the itinerary to our liking, but really went above and beyond to give us the best chance to experience Sri Lanka in the best way- e.g. on the Kandy to Ella train ride, he got in touch with others to know in real time when the train was arriving and arranged to have us board on a not so busy stop so that our group of 13 could get seats. Thank you Mr. Buddhika! Our trip was even more fantastic with you bringing us around!

This is an extremely packed tour covering ancient UNESCO heritage sites, sacred temples, cooling highlands, safari with many animals, river cruise, and fantastic beaches among other things. Not a relaxing holiday but absolute value for money is you can keep up the pace. Our guide Mr Buddhika is the most calm and efficient I have ever met , who took care of us and every little detail too. All was not to be missed except for the much hyped mountain train ride to Ella , which for us was uncomfortable and wasted too much time, despite the admittedly marvellous views. There was no time schedule to speak of, our 4 here took 6hrs , and while we were fortunate to secure seats , many people had to stand the whole way in very packed conditions. Not for the faint hearted. Definitely recommend BH Lanka for any tour of Sri Lanka!

Our 8 days whirlwind tour of Sri Lanka was amazing inspite of the weather. The itinerary stated was accomplished, hotels (both for accommodation & food) were good with the exception of 1 in Nuwara Eliya, transportation was clean & comfortable and our guide, Buddhika was exceptional. This tour is indeed a lifetime experience and one that is highly recommendable!

We throughly enjoyed our 8 day lifetime experience of Sri Lanka tour. Chinthaka was a fantastic guide, he was able to tell us all about all of the places we visited, as well as answer all our questions. He was also flexible and able to tailor our days based on our interests and preferences. He also went the extra mile to drive all the way back from Ella to pick us up from the train station in Nuwara Eliya when our train was cancelled! It was a whistle stop tour of each place as there was so much to fit into 8 days. We were both exhausted after each day, but were pleased to fit in so much. In an ideal world we would have preferred 2 days in each place, however this tour enabled us to see the most of Sri Lanka in the least amount of time. It seemed like a number of the locations on the itinerary were centred around gift shops. Therefore it would have been good to have been provided with a more detailed description of each place we visited beforehand, as a lot of the places were based around touristic experiences rather than genuine places. However, each location and experience helped give a great feel for the country and culture and we enjoyed each visit. It is clear that some of these tourist experiences keep old traditions and crafts alive. It would also have been good to have beforehand a clearer description of what was included in the price and what would require cash tips and extra payments, as a few activities were mentioned as being included in the tour price yet a lot of the people employed in these activities were only paid by tourist tip money, which therefore made us wonder where the tour money we paid was being spent and whether we were paying twice. The hotels were all excellent; mostly 4 star resorts with beautiful rooms, great facilities, friendly staff and delicious food for breakfast and dinner. The hotel locations were sometimes a bit further out of town however we usually arrived around 6pm after a busy day of sightseeing and left around 8:30am so didn’t have so much time at the hotels or in the surrounding areas. Some of our highlights were Sigirya, tea plantations, jeep safari and the Madu river cruise. In summary we really enjoyed our tour and would book another tour with BH Lanka and Chinthaka.

This was a perfect tour to see a variety of places in a short period of time. We took the 5 star option. Our fantastic tour guide tailored the tour each day to suit us and he even included some special little surprise places along the way. He had so much knowledge of the country and was very professional. We stayed in some very nice places but our favourites were the Amaya chain of hotels and the Occidental Eden Resort. My favourite things were the train ride and the safari. You also need to have a moderate fitness level to climb the 1300 steps at the Sigiriya Rock. I’m a bit older so I didn’t make it all the way to the top but plenty of people did, I’m just old. The forever Tea Plantations make the countryside look stunning. The area around Galle and up the coast is beachy and just magical. Why would you try and see the country without a guide? I would highly recommend booking through BH Lanka Tours and getting the experts to guide you through the beautiful country of Sri Lanka.
