An absolutely incredible and authentic experience! If you're in Kyoto looking for a truly unforgettable local experience and are lucky enough to get a booking, the karate session at Studio Tomi is an absolute must-do. I initially booked this session for my two teenage sons, but we were welcomed so warmly that our 9-year-old daughter was also invited and joined in the fun. It was an outstanding and great experience for the entire family. Yoshitomi is an amazing teacher who conveys the content perfectly and whose own practice is profoundly impressive to watch. The entire team is incredibly friendly and kind. This is so much more than just a tourist activity—it’s an authentic introduction to Japanese martial arts. Highly, highly recommended!
