Cabo Girão (Girão Cape) is the biggest cliff in Europe. It is located in the island of Madeira, and it can be seen from the sea or visited from land to enjoy its fantastic views. This impressive cliff has 580 metres of free fall.
This village, whose name means Wild River, is located in the mouth of the river of the same name, between mountains full of banana trees and other crops. To know the reason of the name "Ribeira Brava" it is recommendable to visit the village at the end of autumn or in winter, when the river flows at full. During the rest of the year, its quiet appearance hides its true nature.

Porto Moniz is and amazingly cosmopolitan village for being located in the northern end of Madeira. You will find some amazing natural pools which have been enlarged to have an area of warm baths of marine water. The city of Porto Moniz also has interesting places such as the Centro de Ciência Viva Centre and the Aquário da Madeira Aquarium. After you leave behind the city, the road goes up, zigzagging along the great slope of the hill which dominating the village. Here you will find two amazing overlooks that offer some impressive views.
Seixal, located between Porto Moniz and São Vicente, is an excellent place to stop if you are travelling through the highway of the Northern coast of Madeira. From here you can explore the rocky coast and have a walk in the dock to admire the big cliffs and waterfalls which are on both sides of this little village.
São Vicente is a village located in the mouth of Ribeira Grande, almost hidden in the hole of a cliff, in the island of Madeira, Portugal. Its houses are set up surrounding the church and its environment is very initing with good cafés, hotels and numerous shops. The Capela de São Vicente Chapel lies on top of a rock in the mouth of the river.
Câmara de Lobos is a little fishing village and municipality, located in the west of Madeira, which owes a big part of its appeal to the little fleet of fishing boats, painted in rich colours. The fishing boats can be seen in the beach for most of the day.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PICK-UPS AND TRANSPORT Please note that pick-ups are available within Funchal city centre and the main tourist hotel area. Some areas, including pedestrian zones, historic streets in Funchal, and locations with restricted access for the type of transport we use, may not be suitable for direct pick-up. If your accommodation is located outside our pick-up area or in a restricted-access zone, please provide us with your full accommodation address so that we can direct you to the nearest available meeting point in Funchal. Our activities are usually operated in groups of around 16 participants. However, during peak seasons, the type of transport may be adjusted and the number of participants per group may increase, depending on availability and logistical requirements.

Lineal our guide was brilliant, so passionate about his home, interesting & fun. He drove safely & the other attendees were all so friendly, especially to me as a solo guest. Plenty of interesting places, but sadly due to the dangerous conditions of the sea, I wasn’t able to swim in the sea pools. However, the crashing waves were spectacular. We expected it to be cold in the mountains it wasn't. Lot of great photo opportunities. Never felt we were pushed for time. Renato was an excellent guide, certainly knew everything about Maderia, very very informative. The mini bus was new and very clean, but a bit cramped if you had long legs.

We went on a mini bus, uncomfortable, tight and the air conditioning was never on. The guide was friendly. I do not recommend, I still prefer big buses.

We were picked up at the arranged time. Unfortunately the sound system wasn’t working properly so it was virtually impossible to hear the commentary. We were recommended a lovely restaurant for lunch was great value. The guide and driver were very nice. We saw all the advertised places and had enough time to explore them.

Most memorable: When it was over. The guide didn't engage with guests, didn't introduce himself or encourage interaction. It was a lot of driving and mostly short stops. The seats were uncomfortable and air conditioning didn't work well. It was so unpleasant that we cancelled our tour for the next day fearing it would be more of the same. The driver was skilled at handling the roads but we had the feeling he didn't like his job.
In July, I booked Exorbitant West Tour via TripAdvisor, but I never received any kind of confirmation from the company. I tried to contact them both via TripAdvisor and the WhatsApp number available. On WhatsApp, I received an automatic message saying that they were "absent" and that they would contact me as soon as they could. Needless to say, I never got an answer. In view of this, I canceled the Reservation, but did not receive the refund. I chose this company because of the good reviews, but it is a pity that they treat customers that way.
Beautiful scenery and great to swim in seawaters! Lovely guide Rodriguez but his facts differed to another guide especially in regards to Madeira wine! Kept us chuckling ! Tip after swimming: go to cafe near the drop off much better value than those at the top of the hill and free loos!!
Exmverything about the 2 days, it was spectacular and we had the best driver....a very beautiful island to explore and enjoy...
