Excursão ao VULCANO LIPARI SCIARA DEL FUOCO saindo de Tropea

Aside from the truly exorbitant price per person, out of 11 hours, over 6 are spent sailing, but they don't mention that beforehand... once we got on board, we felt like "tourists to be squeezed." A little info about the islands and for the rest, it was all a sale of junk, raffle tickets for prizes, tickets for minibus tours in Lipari that weren't so mini after all, since we were stuck for an hour in the sun on the road because the "50-seat minibus" couldn't turn through the narrow streets due to roadwork. Arriving in Tropea, not even a greeting from the guide/captain... if it weren't all true, it would be surreal!

A beautiful experience. Our guide Angela was brilliant company: she knows practically everything, she tells you every single detail with competence and professionalism: from the geological origins to how to save money. An engaging personality, a speaker I will be sorry not to hear anymore. The ship was precise and clean. It even turned back to let the usual latecomers on board. The only flaw: the sale of souvenirs, tickets during the cruise... the set of pots was missing 😂. The islands are stunning and what about the Sciara del fuoco? Enchanting

Perfect organization and a very well-prepared guide. I recommend staying on board in Lipari for the additional and optional tour; thanks to the guide's super knowledge and professionalism, it was very interesting.

We did the Lipari volcano tour by day. I must say that it is a very tiring trip, but nice to do. We were unlucky because the sea was slightly rough and, suffering from seasickness, we did not feel well for the trip from Tropea to Vulcano. It should be noted that the staff was not very present (they were all doing their own thing) apart from a guy who was part of the staff who, if I remember correctly, is named Vincenzo, who helped us all from the first to the last. We also thank Mrs. Angela, who with her explanations and her manner was able to engage us in a pleasant way; it is clear that she does it with passion and as an expert in her work. Half recommended. Too much time on the boat, little time on the islands.

A pure disappointment! We planned our vacation to Calabria in order to visit Stromboli. We bought the trip in Tropea directly through a tour operator. The lady was super friendly. On the day of the trip, the driver was on time in front of our hotel to pick us up. Unfortunately, it was the only positive result that day😟. Arrival at Lipari was an hour later, so the time on the island was shortened accordingly. The tour guide on board announced at the beginning of the trip that she would speak in two languages: Italian and English. In reality, she spoke Italian for hours, then 5 minutes briefly and concisely in English, and that was it.... After Lipari, she did a survey to see how many foreign-language tourists were there; since we were not numerous, she simply ignored us later! Luckily, she made an effort to communicate when we had to be picked up from each island. According to the program, we were supposed to take at least a 30-minute break before Stromboli to see the eruption. The captain waited about 15 minutes and turned back. Unfortunately, Stromboli was very moody that day, so we were only able to admire 3 short eruptions! A real shame. The trip was not worth it at all. Conclusion: This trip with this company is not recommended; service is poor, and the price-performance ratio is a flop. I would recommend finding another provider! Best, Alex

Too many hours of travel for a quick getaway.

The ship was completely overcrowded, as a result not enough seats. Unfortunately, the fellow passengers were also not ready to move together so that everyone could sit. We confessed for three hours. The staff were equally unfriendly and not oriented to solutions. For the money, the poor Service and the short stay you have to think carefully if it is worth it. We wouldn't do it anymore. For us it's a tourist rip-off!

A tease. If before leaving you warn me that there is a possibility that the tour will not be complete for rough seas I choose whether to give up or do it anyway. Everything already planned according to the navigation plan established already in the morning. Sciara of fire at night never seen and Panarea seen only from binoculars. Proposed by the captain an extra excursion to Lipari of 10 € per person by coach that excursion is not... But rather a frantic race through the curves of Lipari that makes you see nothing but only three kiosks that must sell already with fixed stops to the driver. Total disappointment!!!! No refund is no seriousness. We were treated like objects
