Marlon is an amazing guide. YS Falls did not disappoint, amazing experience. Swim shoes definitely needed, still slippy so care needed but guide that takes you around is very helpful & takes loads of photos for you. Pelican Bar is a definite must visit surreal feeling, a var in the middle of the Caribbean. All round a fabulous say

Our full day trip from Negril to YS Falls and Pelican Bar surpassed anything we had hoped for. First and foremost, our tour guide Marlon was incredible. We could not have asked for a better guide. Marlon is a great guy who knows the entire region intimately and is generous in sharing his knowledge of every town that we passed through on our way to YS Falls and then to Pelican Bar. YS Falls ended up being a ton of fun. Our guide at the falls led us on a very short hike up the various levels of falls and showed us exactly where to step as we entered the water at each level and waded towards the falls, enjoying the mildly strong current caused by the waterfalls. The highlight was grabbing hold of a rope swing and swinging out and dropping into the water at the base of the largest falls. Our guide at the falls took one of our phones and did a great job of documenting our time there. The Pelican Bar is a very cool and unique experience. An eight-minute boat ride, in which we got a glimpse of a pod of dolphins, ends at a bar on stilts standing in the middle of the sea. Nothing to complain about when you’re drinking beers while sitting on the edge of the bar looking out over the Caribbean. All in all, this is a great way to spend a day in Jamaica, especially with a tour guide as knowledgeable and friendly as Marlon. If you’re going to do this tour, you can’t do better than spending it with Marlon.

MARLON IS THE BEST! Had a great time at YS falls and Floyd's Pelican Bar. Marlon had all the local information for great food spots and hang outs. We also used him for our private transport to the west end from the 7 mile beach area. He even drove us to the airport from the west end as well. Always at a reasonable price and always let us stop anytime anywhere with no rush ever. Best driver we had! MARLON IS THE BEST!

We visited Negril for my 30th birthday and booked a tour with Marlon. It was the best decision we made. YS Falls was beautiful and the staff helped us take some great photos. The pools were relaxing and peaceful. Marlon shared cool facts about the area, took us to Peter Tosh’s gravesite, and found us a great spot for oxtail. The boat ride to Floyd’s Pelican Bar was smooth and fun. My wife, who’s usually nervous on the water, had a blast. The bar itself was a vibe and a perfect way to end the day. Marlon was friendly, professional, and made sure we were always comfortable. 10/10 experience — book with him if you’re visiting Jamaica!

Our driver was great, I just didn’t read the fine print about what this actually was. The money you pay upfront is just for the driver. It’s over two hours one way. You have to pay 25 per person for the falls (which were amazing!). Then you have to pay 25 per person to take a boat to the pelican bar. Then you have to pay for all food and drinks…….. hundreds more than I thought. Fun though!

Our family the pleasure of spending two  days with Marlon in Jamaica this week.  He is professional, courteous and a great tour guide. Our first day trip with Marlon was to Rick's Cafe.   Although we only requested the Cafe, Marlon took us souvenir shopping and to visit some caves beforehand. We explored the caves and Marlon detailed their purpose as a meeting place and also explained what "Sea Beef" were.  Rick's Cafe was great, we stayed around four hours, jumping from each platform level before having lunch and a few beers (be careful of the tourist pricing!).  Marlon was kind enough to give us as much time as we needed. The second day trip was to YS Falls and Pelican Bar.  YS Falls was beautiful, we were able to tour the site and relax in their pool as long as we wanted (something you'd never get from a bus tour vs. private transfer).  After YS, Marlon took us to a local restaurant to eat.   The food there was fantastic and not "tourist" priced, which we appreciated. Pelican Bar was the next stop and Marlon made sure to select a licensed boatman to get us to and from the bar.  We stayed at the bar for couple hours then returned to the hotel. During both trips Marlon shared his knowledge of Jamaica.   Detailed the great Peter Tosh's contribution to The Wailers and Bob Marleys legacy and where he was laid to rest.  We also stopped by the Waterloo Great House to learn about its history as the first building to have electricity in Jamaica. We felt so comfortable after two days with Marlon that when our daughter and her boyfriend (19yos) decided to travel to Dolphin Cove, we didn't hesitate to ask Marlon.  They had another great day with him and he even stopped at the Negril sign and took pictures of them. Marlon is the way to travel in Jamaica.   He's personable, and more affordable than the big private bus tours.  The extra time spent at each location would never happen with bus tours that hurry you in and hurry you out. Plus all the extras that he threw in at no additional cost.  Trust me and call or Whats App Marlon!  You will not be disappointed!!!

YS FALLS was a nice laid back experience. Don’t waste your time with the Pelican Bar. Not a great vibe & nothing to do but drink overpriced Red Stripes. Driver (Marlon) was great. Very friendly and informative. He taught us about the medicinal plants that are all around us while in Jamaica.

I have used trip advisor for a long time. Rather frustrated right now. Booked this excursion on a day that showed the trip was available. Got charged. Got a message from the tour company that the waterfall isn’t open on the day that we scheduled it (Mondays). No money back, and no trip either.

The falls were beautiful! It’s awesome they think safety first and assign a person lifeguard/cinematographer!! Area was clean and was nice to have a red stripe after.
