Toured the Hoover Dam with Jimmy yesterday. Jimmy arrived on time in a lux Cadillac with cold water & snacks and full air con (important when it's 95°+ out!). Highlights of the trip include Jimmy's knowledge of the quirky bits of the dam inc the old school toilets, the astral map and the dam dog, the Lake Mead lookout & our visit with the big horn sheep 🐏 Great drink & food in Boulder City then a list of recommendations for spots to hit up in Vegas itself on the drive back. Jimmy is an awesome guide, super passionate about the area and full of adventure stories that most if us can only dream about. Thanks again, we had the best time!

The guide was knowledgeable, but overall this tour was not the right fit for our group, especially considering the cost. We were hoping for a fairly quick and focused trip to Hoover Dam, but much of the tour felt more centered on the guide’s personal stories than on the experience we were expecting. There was also an uncomfortable moment where the guide yelled at my daughter over something that did not seem necessary, which I did not appreciate. While this guide’s style may work well for some groups, it did not translate well for a car with women and children. Overall, I would not say this was a bad tour, but it was not the experience we were hoping for and did not feel worth the price for us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing trip to the Hoover Dam with Marcia as our tour guide and James as our driver! We traveled with our two kids, and both of them made the experience fun, smooth, and family-friendly from start to finish. Marcia was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and great at explaining things in a way that kept both adults and kids interested. James was a fantastic driver—professional, friendly, and made us feel very safe the entire trip. The whole tour was well organized, informative, and enjoyable for our family. We did a Red Rock Canyon Hike with "Jimmy Vegas" and had such an amazing time that not only did we extend our tour duration that day, but we booked an additional tour during our stay to visit the Hoover Dam. Jimmy personalized both tours and adapted on the fly to the things we wanted to do and see, and was fantastic at anticipating what we would like. We really connected with Jimmy and got to see and learn about things that we never would have on our own. We loved our experience with Another Side Tours and are planning a return trip and tours for the things we missed!
