Bilingual guide, with English. Very passionate, makes you want to know more about Turkish culture. Very professional.
We really liked our guide Tony. He was so willing to share about life in the village. He took special care to make sure we would get good photographs. It was also wonderful to meet local people who let us take their pictures. We met a 92-year-old lady in her home. We saw the inside of a traditional home. Tony told us all about the plants and trees and their uses. Tony took us inside the mosque and explained the basic tenants of the Muslim religion. We saw how the wool for making rugs was died and had a demonstration of a woman working on the rug loom. Inside the carpet cooperative we saw many beautiful carpets and were educated about the different regions of carpet making and styles. We were never pressured to buy a rug which we really appreciated. In fact, we did end up buying some rugs which will be shipped home to us. We felt good about supporting a cooperative where the rug makers receive 90% of the money. We had lunch in the restaurant with traditional Turkish food served by the local ladies. I think this would be a great tour for families to take their children so they could have a glimpse of village Turkish life. I highly recommend this trip to the countryside to anyone who wants to understand Turkish village life. Gerry. Winnipeg. Canada

Caption Tony was a great tour guide, Took his time to show and explain everything. I Unplugged from the world and connected with the beauty of traditional craftsmanship or carpet weaving. An unforgettable moment of tranquility. Also how could I forget about the delicious lunch! Yum
Very nice tour, you get to see an area that is somewhat hard to reach as a tourist. Abdullah our guide was amazing and explained everything in detail. There is a carpet shop for the local cooperative. You will have a presentation about the carpet making at the end of the tour and a chance to buy carpets if you want.
A very interesting excursion with family or friends.Despite our approximate English, the Guide, Metin, used easy vocabulary, spoke slowly, very attentive. We visited a carpet factory, very interesting. But , we stayed hungry, because we did not visit a tobacco factory, tea, olive oil, mosque .... Too bad.
