Mike was an absolutely outstanding tour guide. He was born and raised in this area and had a wealth of knowledge on each and every question we asked. It was a true pleasure spending a day with Mike. It is easy to tell that Mike loves his position as a tour guide and demonstrates this with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Our tour guide, Mirek ("Mike") was very personable and quite knowledgeable about Gdynia/Gdansk. I highly recommend a private tour, as he was able to take us places the large buses cannot easily go.

“Mike” was an outstanding guide. He first asked how much we wanted to know, and when we said “tell us everything” he kept us informed about the places, buildings and history of Gydnia and Gdansk through our driving/walking tour. As a child who grew up under Soviet domination and has lived in Poland since they were freed in 1991, he had unique perspectives on life before the change, during the transition, and today as a member of the EU.. We all appreciated his genuine opinions and feelings about the drastic changes he has experienced, it put a human face to the pages of history we have only read about. Seeing the Solidarity Museum, and learning about the workers who paid with their lives, brought that hung event to life. I grew a newfound respect for the people of Gdansk after seeing it all firsthand. You only get what you ask for with guided tours, and small-group ones are the way to really get to know a place and the people who call it home. I can’t thank Mike enough for sharing so much with us., he made this stop truly memorable.

Mike was fantastic! He was kind, adaptable and very helpful. I travel with a wheelchair and he made it positively easy.

Our guide Mike was incredible! He met us at the cruise port and drove us all over the Gdansk area from beautiful beaches to old city center with many interesting stops in between. He was so knowledgeable of Poland history and culture and was always entertaining us. This was our best tour of the trip and I would highly recommend! Mike dropped us off with suggestions of places to eat and streets to walk down. We had time in each location for a walk and time to tour! Thank you for a great day in Gdansk!

We had a wonderful day with Mike. He met us as we left the ship and took us to the 3 cities in and near Gdansk. Three very different experiences, each a pleasant and interesting place. Our tour included an impressive organ concert. Mike’s personal insights were much appreciated and we learned so much from him. Book this if you can.

“Mike” gave us a great day long tour of Gdynia and Gdansk. He picked us up early so that we could get to everything and get back to the cruise ship in plenty of time. We saw many highlights and were able to get to the busiest sites before the larger cruise ship tours. We also had a chunk of time on our own in the old town of Gdansk. We really enjoyed the tour and would recommend this tour and guide to others.

Mike was a great history teller of Poland.. he talked to us about current history, took us to a great spot to eat breakfast Mono kitchen.

An excellent day in the tri-city area! Mike gave us a great tour, chock full of history and information. He clearly loves sharing his country with others. We went from not knowing much about Poland to knowing that we will be coming back for more! This country has an exciting future.

We had a wonderful time on our tour!! Our guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the castle (a must see!) and also seeing the Old Town. Both were beautiful!! Would highly recommend booking a tour with this company.
