That Kos is a beautiful island with many facets A little more history and less visit due to commission.............
Would totally recommend this trip to anyone interested in finding out about the history and culture of the island and to sightsee. Constantine the guide was very knowledgable and we learnt a great deal, though time to explore separately was limited. We had lunch in a taverna in Zia but service was quite slow so we had little time to explore the village and would recommend grabbing something quick or taking food with you for lunch. The stop at Melissa the honey factory was little more than a trip to a honey shop and personally I didn’t think it fitted with the trip but I do love honey and happily spent quite a lot there!
I am an avid tour goer whenever I visit a new place whether it be a jeep safari or a guided tour. I have to say this was one of the best I have experienced! Constantine our tour guide was INCREDIBLE, so knowledgeable and not the basic knowledge you would be able to get from Google or just any local he was very detailed and gave so much information on each location in such a short period. He went above and beyond and could not have done more for us, we had a great experience at the honey tasting and he even showed us the beauty of the landscape in Kos and the wonderful tastes and smells of herbs and fruits along the way. Perfect for couples or families, so suitable for a good day out with no option of ever being bored it was a perfect pace and a good mixture of guided information but also opportunities to explore on your own for a short period of time. We LOVED it! Would recommend to anyone visiting Kos
If your family likes history then this is the tour for you. Our guide was excellent. He explained everything so that every age could understand. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. He had time for everyone and treated everyone so warmly that it was a really enjoyable day. Even spent time with my 8 year son who is prone to very random, off topic questions and didn’t judge, just answered each and everyone. The honey factory is more of a gimmick, don’t really see much and the tasting is a queue to go buy afterwards, but the rest of the day was great Highly recommend if you like history
