Mixup on time. One driver great the other knew little or no English we had 2 vans with 5 people and one tour was great and the other kept trying to shorten our tour. 5 on one tour were not happy at all and didn't take Viator tour next day.
We had an unforgettable day in Florence! Our guide was so amazing and so knowledgeable. We learned so much. Do this tour and get Eunice!! She’s the best!
Salvatore was our friendly driver - he told us several interesting things en route. We then met our guide Claudia who was so enthusiastic, taking our photos and always ensuring we kept in the shade on an extremely hot day - she was flexible - happy to do whatever itinerary we wanted she even made time for gelato and a little shopping! Returning to our car where Salvatore booked the perfect restaurant stop for lunch before heading back to the port. we saw all the main sites with a full itinerary and thank both for a wonderful day.
Amazing tour, amazing driver with a ton of patients and knowledge and the tour guide was one of the best we ever had. The experience from the moment we were picked up in a new Mercedes van until we were taken back to the boat was 5 stars. Highly, highly recommend
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. We got into the museum without the long lines which was wonderful due to my limited walking and standing ability. I would definitely recommend a private tour for those needing extra time to walk at YOUR pace and not the fast pace of group tours. I know it was expensive, but our whole trip was. At least I got to SEE Florence and didn’t have to stay in a hot bus,
Florence is a wonder of art and history. A 3 hr tour is strictly a scratch the surface event. No time for Uffizi Gallery or any of the major churches. Our guide Uli was able, knowledgeable and thorough. He tied history art and culture together giving the backstory on many places and pieces of art.
Christo and Anna Maria made our day special. We very much enjoyed the tour privately instead of going with a group. So much more personalized.
