Excursão Terrestre: Giants Causeway Tour Do Porto De Belfast

We took the Giant's Causeway your from the port. The coach was waiting, on time ,and comfortable. Our driver, Paddy, was delightful and a good driver to boot. Small coach so no facilities but we made it work without problems.
Great view of the giants causeway . Splendid walk and beautiful views. Guide Amanda was knowledgeable and pleasant . Lots of good information
We felt rushed through whole experience. Driver friendly talked to fast to get it all. Drives abit to fast also trying to beat time even. though back early.
Hello Jo Ellen Your cruise ship was in port for a short amount of time, 2 hours less than normal. We needed to adjust our itinerary to be sure we visited the main sites. Our main priority is getting passengers back to port safe and on time for the ships departure time. Sorry you felt rushed as we done our very best under the circumstances. Regards
Picture shows travelers crossing the rope bridge. This hasn't been allowed since 2020 but still using this photo to get you to book the trip. You don't get any where near it and get photos from nearby cliffs. Despite their assurances that there is a bathroom on board there is not. The tour of the giants causeway is self guided. The bus does not enter the official parking area to save money and your ti get does not include admission to tourist center. Our guide was able to point out all the local bathrooms along the way. He was very knowledgeable with stories of history of the areas we were driving through. Because the cruise ship cut our time short we were unable to enjoy lunch in town. I really expected more stops instead of a drive to and from with narrative. You would be better taking taxi to rope bridge so you could actually cross it and then to the causeway.
Hello Jo Ellen Thank you for your second review Crossing the bridge is not on the itinerary. We do not advertise bathrooms on our buses, mainly because there are no bathrooms on the buses. We drop off at the Causeway about 25 metres from the entrance. Admission to the Causeway visitor centre is optional and not included in the price of the tour. Access to the Causeway is free of charge visiting the centre is an individual choice Your cruise ship was in port for a short amount of time, 2 hours less than normal. We needed to adjust our itinerary to be sure we visited the main sites. Our main priority is getting passengers back to port safe and on time for the ships departure time. Sorry you felt rushed as we done our staff done their very best under the circumstances. You have stated the Cruise ship reduced the ships time in port, this is something we cannot control. Regards
The Giant’s Causeway was the primary stop and it was wonderful. The lunch was very good at a restaurant with very nice views. It was not clear that we would drive by, and not stop, at any other significant places. The rest of the trip was driving through one section of Belfast where there are murals of the “Troubles.” The narrative was the politics of the time, the driver showing a picture of some horrendous violence that occurred, adding a distinct personal political slant.
Paddy our tour guide was full of stories and history. He and the driver effortlessly guided us through this day of the beautiful countryside. The Giants Causeway is amazing! We saw the Carrick A Rede rope bridge from a view point. The setting is gorgeous! Lunch was on our own, O'Conners was efficient and delicious! My husband loved the seafood chowder. We drove past the Peace Walls in Belfast. We saw so much on this excursion . It is a good combination of country and city.
Tour guide was great. Pick up at the port was easy. You don’t get close to the walking bridge it’s a long ways away for a photo no way to cross the bridge. Still beautiful . Causeway was cool but thought the area was going to be bigger. The lunch was great. The bus ride was great.
The way the Causeyway is put together, the stones and geology are unreal and amazing; Nature made that!?! The entire experience was through one of the quaintest and most beautiful parts of Nothern Ireland. I appreciated our guide's sense of humor, depth of knowledge, and general enthusiasm. I appreciated his personal insights into the Troubles and why Belfast is Belfast.
Stephen gave possibly the best Viator tour we have ever had and we have been on many! He was a former driver of the stars and directors of the Game of Thrones series for 6 seasons so his driving skills knowledge and commentary are unmatched. All the stops and places he took us to were spot on beautiful and highly enjoyable. I will highly recommend this tour to our family and friends traveling this way in the future.
This was a great tour. We had plenty of time to see all kinds of things, and never felt rushed. They took very good care of us.
