Simply perfect for 1st time visitors. Informative, fun and breathtaking views. Rose was ao nice. Very easy to learn how to use, and fun.
Great to hear you enjoyed the experience! Thank you for the kind review and for sharing your feedback. Greetings from Málaga!
Fantastic tour around Malaga, great guide and lots of fun!!! An easy way to see all the attractions. All the group loved it!
⭐️⭐️ Disappointing, Uninformative & Unsafe ⚠️ Little history — Distracted guide — Poor safety instruction This tour was extremely disappointing. I signed up expecting to learn about Málaga’s rich history and see key sites, but the guide provided almost no meaningful information and seemed distracted, often on their phone. We learned only a few basic facts in two hours, which is unacceptable for the price and what was advertised. I’ve booked many tours through Viator in destinations around the world, and this is the first time I felt genuinely let down. In comparison, I took a tour in Alicante just days ago — same length of time — and learned significantly more about the city, culture, and landmarks than I did here in Málaga. Safety was also a major concern. We were taken up steep hills near the castle with no railings and no proper training on controlling a Segway on challenging slopes. We shared the road with cars and buses without any guidance on how to navigate traffic, and at one point a bus passed extremely close. It felt genuinely unsafe and poorly organized. Overall, this tour was not worth the time or the money. Very little history, limited engagement, and serious safety oversights. I cannot recommend this experience unless the company significantly improves its safety training, guide knowledge, and overall tour quality.
Dear Michele, We are sorry to hear that you experienced our tour this way. We also did not expect this review, as you seemed enthusiastic during the tour and did not share any feedback at the time. Our tour is designed to offer a well-rounded experience where you get to see many different sides of Malaga within just two hours. The combination of city, beach, history and viewpoints is generally very well received by our guests. At the start of the tour we always give a thorough explanation on how to safely operate a Segway. Of course, you were always welcome to ask questions at any time during the tour if you felt unsafe. Our tour guide took several photos during the tour, which is why she was occasionally on her phone. We also have to remain accessible in case of emergencies or important matters. We always encourage guests to share their preference with us in advance. Some guests are more interested in history, while others prefer different aspects, and we adjust our tours accordingly. This flexibility is reflected in the many positive reviews from our other customers. You also ended the tour earlier because you were not feeling well, as you hadn´t eaten anything that day. During that time, we were very understanding and assisted you to the best of our abilities to help you feel better. Regarding driving in traffic, there are only two parts of the tour where we have to use the road. One is from the park to the Alcazaba and the other is before reaching the Mirador de Gibralfaro. On both routes, there is very little or no traffic and there is no danger. The City Council requires us to use these routes. In any case, we are sorry that you did not enjoy our tour. After 18 years of running Segway tours in Malaga, we are still learning from our customers' feedback.
A great way to see Malaga. We went up the mountain and were able to take great pictures of the city.
Thank you so much for the positive review!
Great city tour with stops along the way. It was my first time on a Segway and Anna and Cheyenne were very patient and helpful.
Anna, our guide was amazing! She was knowledgeable and a very good teacher in explaining the use of the Segway. Highly recommend this tour! It was a highlight of my whole trip!
An excellent and exhilarating experience. We were a group of four and, perhaps with it being off season, it was effectively a private tour. Anna, our guide was excellent and the route, sights and Segways were brilliant, enabling us to see so much of the city in the 2 hour tour.
A fun and great way to see the city!! Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating!! We got lost and ended up being 15 mins late and we still got the whole 2 hour tour - thank you SO much! We would recommend this experience to anyone!
Thanks so much! We appreciate your positive comments, it was a pleasure to have you with us!
Our guide, Anna, was just great. She went above and beyond to help my husband when he had difficulty with his Segway. She showed us beautiful spots, including the beaches, the old city center, and the fort at the top of the hill. The views were amazing. She was assisted by an intern named Sophie. They are both so sweet and competent. The shop is easy to find right near the tourist information. I would highly recommend doing a Segway tour with them.
My guide was Sjoukje and she was a delight to deal with. Was very helpful in getting me acquainted with my Segway (first time rider). She knows a tremendous amount about the history of Malaga. She was very accommodating in making it easy to stop so I could get some photos. I would definitely recommend this excursion. I am 76 and had never been on a Segway before and it was so much fun. Go for it.
