Depois de encontrar seu motorista em seu navio no porto de Livorno, durante os 90 minutos de carro para chegar a Greve in Chianti, (a vila mais famosa da zona rural de Chianti Classico), ele explicará todos os detalhes do seu dia, para garantir o horário atende às suas necessidades. Uma vez em Greve in Chianti, local de nascimento do famoso explorador toscano Giovanni da Verrazzano, o toscano que descobriu o porto de Nova York, admire a Piazza Matteotti, uma praça levemente inclinada que é o centro da vida em Greve; visite as muitas lojas locais e lojas de vinho, incluindo o famoso açougue Falorni, ou a Enoteca Le Cantine (uma das maiores lojas de vinhos da Toscana)
Após a visita de Greve in Chianti, saída para uma viagem de 30 minutos por uma das mais belas estradas vinícolas da Itália, cheia de colinas, enormes vinhedos e oliveiras, típicas da área de Chianti Classico.
No caminho para a vinícola, admire a charmosa vila toscana de Panzano in Chianti, localizada exatamente a meio caminho entre Florença e Siena, com a igreja de Santa Maria Assunta e a imponente Torre do Castelo.
Sua experiência na vinícola começará com uma introdução sobre a história da propriedade, seguida da visita às antigas adegas com explicações sobre o processo de vinificação e todos os segredos para produzir o vinho tinto Chianti e o azeite toscano , famoso em todo o mundo. Após a visita, sente-se e prove diferentes vinhos (Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Toscanos, etc.) e o azeite, um dos ingredientes mais importantes da culinária italiana.
Como alternativa, caso a Fattoria Montecchio não esteja disponível para a sua data, a visita seguida da degustação de vinhos será feita na Casa Emma, outra vinícola no topo da colina localizada na mesma área (terra do interior do Chianti Classico).
Para os amantes da gastronomia, a apenas 5 minutos das vinícolas, há um restaurante familiar chamado La Locanda di Pietracupa, onde você pode saborear uma das melhores e mais genuínas comidas da Toscana, acompanhada de uma grande seleção de vinhos locais. Tour was great experience. Daniele and Antonio are great tour guy. We felt safe on the bus. We had a lot of fun.

We laughed, we cried, we were born again. Spending the day with 3x Grammy nominated tour guide, Jason, was a dream come true. If you come to Italy, and you’re not touring with Jason, you’re doing it wrong.
Terrific experience beautiful countryside amazing wineries had a great time! The van could use a microphone or some sort of PA system because in the back you really couldn't hear anything the driver was saying. But not his fault. Would do again absolutely and might even book a stay at the first Winery or even the second! They both had lodging options it appeared.

went with my daughter yesterday and it was just a perfect day in every way. Our host Jason was amazing, a great combination of knowledgeable information and fun. He really enhanced the experience by providing a really fun atmosphere. All 3 venues were excellent with beautiful wine and food at all 3. The stop off in the little town was also very nice. This is a day very worth doing. You will have the best time.
From the moment we handed our voucher to the lovely lady at the reception desk, we knew this was going to be a very special day. The Chianti wine region is absolutely breathtaking, the vineyards are stunning, and the wines we tasted were simply exquisite. But what truly made this excursion unforgettable were our driver, Mike, and our guide, Raf. They are exactly where they belong. Their professionalism, passion, energy, and sense of humor transformed a wonderful tour into an extraordinary experience. From beginning to end, it was a nonstop stream of laughter, emotions, fascinating stories, and unforgettable moments. We have taken many excursions over the years, but we can honestly say this was the very best we have ever experienced. Without question, this became the absolute highlight of our entire trip and that’s saying a lot because we’ve had an amazing vacation. Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, the flawless organization, the spectacular scenery, the incredible wines, an exceptional guide, an outstanding driver, and a wonderful group of fellow travelers. The atmosphere on the bus was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. It truly felt like everything aligned to create the perfect day. Our only disappointment? We can’t give more than 5 stars. Grazie di cuore a Mike, Raf e a tutto il team. Questa giornata rimarrà per sempre uno dei ricordi più belli del nostro viaggio in Toscana. Bravissimi! 🇮🇹
Loved it. Leo our guide, was great. Very knowledgeable and interesting. All three wineries were different and all very enjoyable. A little stop off in Greve was a bonus too. Four tastings at first one with snacks, second with lunch and the third one was huge.we were a small group(only four of us) and we tried six very different wines. Also small snacks. It was a relief to go up into the hills for a breeze. Temperature in Florence town hit 39! And the views were to die for.
What an amazing experience to visit the Chianti region and Tuscan countryside. The trip alone had us looking out at gorgeous vistas. The wines were fantastic and being able to see some very old bottles of wine in the cellars was great. What made this exceptional was Nino (driver) and Matteo (our guide). He gave us so much information along the way which made it super educational. Would do this again!
