We had a great experience. They took us everywhere we wanted to go, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Memorial. The driver and tour guide were both great.
Our tour guide Will was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and history. He asked us what we wanted to see and where we wanted to go. We saw all the sights we had hoped to see. Plus he took us to some others we were unaware of. He always explained what we were seeing and the significance of it. He suggested several options for lunch and let us decide. It was delicious! We could not have had a better day. While it was a whirlwind tour of Berlin, we did not feel pushed or rushed. Highly recommend Will!
Our guide (Glenn) and driver (Jeremy) were terrific and shared not only their historical perspectives on Berlin, but their personal stories which helped us better understand what Germany is like to live in now. Berlin has been a bucket list city to visit for us and the two of them helped us see all the important sites on a tight time schedule. We got back to the ship in plenty of time and never felt rushed at any of the stops. Great tour-highly recommend!
Had a great day in Berlin. Our guide, Walid, showed us all the sights and more. He shared valuable information which gave all the sights greater historical context and made the tour even more memorable. Walid had a great sense of humor and thoughtful of our needs. Drive to Berlin and back was also quite an experience in and of itself. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
Exceeded our expectations. We learned more additional knowledge about the history of Berlin. We're so fortunate to have seen some of the historical landmarks. Nathan was an excellent guide and Joe the driver made it happened for us to get back in time to our ship.
I participated in this 2-3 hour walking tour of Hamburg in the last week of June 2019. To my delight the group that I was in consisted of only 7 people, which gave all participants the opportunity to ask lots of questions and hear everything our guide, Cara, had to say about Hamburg, which was a lot. Cara knew a huge amount about Hamburg and it’s history, and also welcomed all the questions asked of her. The tour was extremely interesting and informative, and Cara was a great guide. I therefore highly recommend Original Hamburg Walks and Cara, our tour guide.
