The weather was a bit intense when I visited but it only made the experience all the more memorable! The views are indescribable and there's plenty to do when you get there. Parque das Aves was also absolutely wonderful and beautiful and interacting with the birds was fantastic! Highly recommend this for anyone who loves nature and a unique experience!
This tour operator is one of the best I have ever seen. Fabio was caring, patient and knowledgeable Guide. Thank you Fabio.
Both of these were superb experiences, more than worth the cost of the trip. In the afternoon we were talked into taking the Macuco Safari. It was the worst investment I have ever made on a trip. The entire experience is designed as a thrill ride for youngsters. The boat captain took every opportunity to slam the boat down on large waves, and the go directly under the falls so everyone was totally drenched. This was totally unnecessary, and it could actually have been a marvelous touristic event if this had not been the case. Everyone on the boat was drenched through, and those of us who wear glasses were blinded for almost half the trip. It was horrendous for anyone who is older than 20!
Great half day trip to see the Brazilian side of the falls and the bird park. I had a message from Fabio the night before confirming pick up time of 8:10am. He was on time picking us up and has already picked up another family. We then headed to the bird park for 8:30 which is when it opens. This meant avoiding big queues and school groups etc. Bird Park entry costs 90R for adults (nearly double the amount on the get your guide page but still very reasonable). I really enjoyed the bird park, it's a great set up aiming to rescue and rehab various birds as well as breeding endangered species etc. Most of the park is large aviaries which you walk through but there are some smaller enclosures you can just look into. There are multiple opportunities to get close to various birds but you are not allowed to feed or touch them. We had just over an hour and a half in the park which was a good amount of time. We then went over the road to the Iguazu national park. We bought tickets, cost of 100R using self service machines which are card payment only. Fabio is allowed to drive in the park which meant he picked us up and drove us to the path. The majority of people had to wait in a massive line to get the park buses. We then had time to walk along the path and see the falls from various view points. Fabio met us a few times along the way, giving some information. We were back at our hotel around 1:30pm. Good trip, would highly recommend.
Excellent, all accommodations from varied menu meals every day are different meals, wonderful... Another thing q mi attracted attention is the cleanliness of the accommodation, my congratulations (Gilmara) For this incredible cleaning...
Excellent personal attention by Fabio and his wife! The bird park and falls were wonderful, and would have been extremely difficult to navigate without guides. Fabio went above and beyond by trying to help us sort out visas for entry into Brazil from Argentina. A great tour with exceptional guides.
My accomodation informed me beforehand that they book tours. On arrival, I learnt otherwise. I desperately searched for tours online, all were sold out. By 10:30pm, I found this tour & Fabio accepted. The following day, I met Chris. She was amazing! She picked me up & it just so happened, it ended up being a private tour. I was so grateful she said yes! On the day, it rained heavily. Chris continued the trails with me, stopped when I wanted to take photos, gave me facts about Iguazu, answered questions. We then went to the bird park - I love nature, pretty flowers, birds, etc. Even in the rain 😅 If you have Chris as your tour guide, then you're lucky. She is the most nicest, kindest & genuine tour guide you could ever come across. I loved that she loves nature, cares for the environment & more importantly, she loves her job. It shows in the tour. Chris - thank you for saying yes to my last minute booking. Xx
Thank you for your coments, as we are locals guides in Iguazu, we can accept last minutes reservations. Hope to see you again iguazu.
We had a phenomenal time with Daniel. He explained everything to us and got us VIP treatment by skipping the lines. It was truly a magnificent day. Highly recommended!
