The guide John was very friendly and experienced. He was very informative. Besides stories, he gave few practical advices on food selection. The tour progressed at a right pace. The lunch was great.
We had a great time in Nanjing We were very lucky to be accompanied by Emily our tour guide. She picked us up at the Nanjing South Railway station with Mr. Lee. We first visited the City Wall, it was a magnificent building and story behind its establishment. Emily told us about the Quality Control System, through which the builder must put his name on the brick layered in the wall. We then had lunch at Liji Islamic Restaurant; it was full house. Fortunately, Emily assisted us with the order. The food was very delicious. We continued our journey to visit Dr Sun Yat Sen mausoleum. We learned how his spirit on nationalism, people's rights, and livelihood, has managed to transition from imperial to republic era. We completed our journey to the Ming dynasty tombs. Emily was incredibly informative and communicative in telling us anything we wanted to know about the building of the tombs and the philosophy behind its architecture. Afterwards Emily and Mr. Lee kindly accompanied back to the hotel ensuring we are safe and comfortable in our accomodation, also helping to become our translator. Xie xie Emily, zai jian
My father, me, and my nephew had great time taking this one day city tour with Fred as our tour guide. He shared us a very complete and comprehensive history of China. From imperial era until current modern day. Too bad Nanjing masacre hall is closed for renovation.
I had this tour recently and learned alot from Fred (王玮). He is a very professional, helpful and knowlegeable bilinggual guide. We went to Zhonghua Gate and museum, Sun Yat Sen mausoleum, Xiaoling Tomb of the first Ming Dynasty Emperor. From here I also learnt where and how some Chinese idioms come from. During the journey, he also shared other historical information and recommended me other places that I might be interested too. A very proactive guide indeed.
Our guide Fred was very knowledgeable and experienced. Whole day was very smooth moving between attractions with the driver. Very flexible to go to our preferred sights or stick to the standard itinerary. Fred/driver were happy to continue to take us around sightseeing and drop us to the train station for our 9pm train even though it was much later than the advertised tour times.
My tour guide Lia is a local and speak very fluent English. Lia explained the Nanjing history very well and accomodate the tour according to my interest. I strongly recommend Lia if you would like to know Nanjing.
Fred was incredible knowledgeable and shared so much about the history of Nanjing and China. As a solo traveler in China he even helped me navigate ATM and buying souvenirs. Additionally he helped guide me to a great local lunch spot with some excellent duck. Highly recommend this tour and tour guide!
A very relaxing tour that took in some great places. Chris was a very knowledgeable guide and was able to share some deep insights into Chinese culture and history as we discussed the places on the tour. Lunch was great but the highlight for me was a quirky bookshop in a beautiful old building. A great way to spend a day and fully recommended.
Excellent relaxed time, the guide (Chris) was knowledgeable and very flexible as to itenaries and ideas. She was very helpful at the Ming tombs and assorted tourist shops later. Would definitely recommend f she is a star!
Fred and the driver were very kind. Fred was very knowledgeable and patient. Had the chu chace to go the eating street of Lao Men Jie. Really good to see the different views of Ming dynasty tomb too. Happy to have taken this tour.
