Great tour guide with relaxed nature to it. Saw the whole island with personal touch. Nice family-owned ceramic store that he brought us to. We had no problems with the tour guide. However, please change the description of the tour. The description makes one think they are going to a thermal bath for the last part of the trip, which is not the case. It is definitely misleading.

As this is a private and customizable tour, a stop at the thermal baths can certainly be added upon request. Unfortunately, since we did not receive this request from you, we were not aware that this was part of your plan. My family and I had Marianna for our tour guide and she was simply wonderful. She gave us a real local experience instead of everything touristy. The tour was truly catered to what we wanted to see and do and we had such a beautiful day exploring Ischia. I would definitely recommend!
After catching the ferry from Sorrento, we met our guide, Carla, in Ischia. She was waiting for us when we arrived, and we immediately began our wonderful adventure on this beautiful island! Carla and our driver were very nice and took great care of us, ensuring we stopped at each place we were interested in and visited nearly the entire island. We highly recommend this tour!
Paolo was great. He showed us around Pontoischia and explained all that we saw. He escorted us to a lunch spot and waited while we ate. There was no rush. All in all it was a great experience. I would recommend him for any tour.
I really enjoyed our trip to Ischia. Carla was a brilliant guide and showed us around the island, visiting lots of interesting places. The minibus that took us around the island had aircon and was really comfortable to be in. Our driver Federico handled the driving like a pro around the narrow streets. This trip is a great way to see the island if you are short of time. The island itself is beautiful and we will definitely be back in the future!
Marianna created an experience that made me feel like I was at home. She was so welcoming and showed me so many wonderful parts of the island. From the history of the island to quaint little coffee shops to breathtaking views, Marianna made me fall in love with Ischia.
We were based in Sorrento and booked this tour. We met a rep at the Ferry port and she helped us obtain tickets and connect with the appropriate ferry. We met Paola, our tour guide, upon arrival to Ischia. We really enjoyed our private tour of Ischia. Paola, as a native, provided much history and explanation of culture of the island. The tour provided some remarkable views and truly this island carries it's own beauty. It seemed less touristy, laid-back/low-key and everyone was welcoming and friendly. We really loved this island and will return to stay here.
This was managed very well and our guide was very gratified and knowledgeable about the island. Ischia is beautiful. We were informed that there could be a stop before ischia, which there was. My only comments are: it was a very hot day and the AC in the minivan was not the greatest. The tour ended at 3:20 and the ferry to leave was at 5:20, so we just hung out at the port for a bit till it came.
We met the rep at the Sorrento marina and she gave us our tickets for the ferry to Ischia. When we arrived our guide was waiting for us. He was very good and took us all over the island showing us the highlights. The only complaint is that it wasn’t made clear beforehand that we were responsible for the guide’s lunch. That should be made clear in the description online. Overall, a wonderful day
Wind/water conditions did not permit ferry travel to Ischia on the day we wanted to go, so nothing to review.
