A série HBO Chernobyl foi filmada em Vilnius, um dos quartos de dormir - Fabijoniškės. Durante o passeio, você visitará Fabijoniskes, além de outros locais de filmagem, e aprenderá sobre a vida soviética e a catástrofe de Chernobyl. A cidade de Pripyat ("átomo pacífico"), criada no final dos anos 60 para atender à usina, foi construída durante algumas décadas como símbolo de uma amizade entre as nações soviéticas. A maioria das repúblicas soviéticas tinha seus distritos urbanos construídos até então. É por isso que a série foi filmada em Fabijoniskes, bairro de Vilnius, que serviu como exemplo de Pripyat. Um dos museus mais visitados da Lituânia é uma prisão real da KGB e ainda tem suas células e câmaras de tortura intactas. As peças originais de móveis onde os prisioneiros eram mantidos foram usadas nas filmagens da série. Terminaremos nosso passeio no edifício da KGB, para que você possa visitá-lo por conta própria.

Domas our guide was great, picked us up on time, nice vehicle and safe driver. He is very knowledgeable about the filming of the Chernobyl tv show, but also Lithuanian history. We learned so much. He also accompanied us for part of or visit to the Museum of Occupation and Freedom, this was such a bonus as it put many of the exhibits into perspective. A great tour and worth every penny

WOW! What an experience! My wife and I booked two private tours which included a tour to Trakai Castle and separate and apart, transportation from Vilnius, Lithuania to Riga, Latvia with stops at Hill of the Crosses and Rundale Palace. For those of you who plant to travel to the Baltics, I strongly recommend including these two UNESCO World Heritage sites. Additionally, I would strongly recommend going with Avitalis who operates FeelZCity Tours out of Vilnius. Avitalis coordinated a FLAWLESS tour which also included a private guide who walked us through Rundale Palace and shared the amazing history of this gem of a site.
