A Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário começou a ser construída em 1928. Fica no local onde brincavam os Pastorinhos, em 13 de maio de 1917. O edifício, que mede 70,5 metros de comprimento e a torre sineira tem 65 m de altura, encimado por uma coroa de bronze de 7.000 kg. O carrilhão é composto por 62 sinos, o sino maior pesa 3.000 kg e o badalo 90 kg. Em 13 de maio de 1958, foi inaugurada uma grande estátua do Imaculado Coração de Maria, com 4,73 m de altura e 13 toneladas. Esta imagem, oferecida pelos católicos americanos, evoca o conteúdo da mensagem sobre a devoção ao Imaculado Coração de Maria. No interior da Basílica encontramos os túmulos de Lúcia, e dos irmãos Francisco Marto e Jacinta Marto
O Lugar Santíssimo do Santuário, onde Nossa Senhora de Fátima apareceu pela primeira vez aos 3 Pastorinhos, e é aqui que se encontra a Imagem de Nossa Senhora. Aqui podemos assistir à Missa e é perto desta capela que podemos deixar as nossas velas acesas como forma de agradecimento.
Esta Basílica começou a ser construída em 2004 porque se verificou que a Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima já não era suficientemente grande para acolher todos os peregrinos, nomeadamente aos domingos e outros dias de média frequência, tendo sido inaugurada em 2007. Uma Basílica da Arquitetura Moderna com 8.633 lugares. Em 2012, este templo dedicado à Santíssima Trindade, recebeu o título de Basílica.
Visitamos a Casa onde a Lúcia e sua família moravam, você pode ver o Quarto, assim como todos os móveis da época. Ao lado da casa também visitamos o local onde os animais eram mantidos
Visitámos a Casa onde viviam o Francisco e a Jacinta Marto e a sua família, podem ver-se os Quartos, Cozinha, Despensa, bem como todo o mobiliário da época. Também podemos ver o lugar secreto, onde Francisco se escondeu da imprensa após as aparições. Junto à casa visitámos também o jardim onde brincavam.
Foi no Poço dos Arneiros, no fundo do quintal da casa de Lúcia, local emblemático das aparições de Fátima, que ocorreu a segunda aparição do Anjo.

We did a full day tour around Lisbon, Sintra, etc. Our guide George was fantastic. He knew the history of the area to an amazing extent and was a wealth of information. He seemed like part of our family by the end of the day!

Our tour guide Aurelio was absolutely amazing! He was funny and great to be with. This was our first time going to Portugal and he provided us the best first experience of Fatima. Through out the whole drive he continuously provided us with Portugal’s history and recommended other sites to see, which we did and are so grateful! I highly recommend asking for him as your tour guide!

Tour guide knowledgeable of Lisbon and its history. Loved trip to see st lucia’s house and the cementery. Fatima’s chapel and basilica was not the experience we had expected
We took this private tour on Sunday, September 11th, 2022. In total, we were three adults including my 84 years old mother who is recovering from a hip surgery. Our tour guide, Jorge, picked us up at our Lisbon hotel right on time at 9:00 am. From that moment onwards, Jorge was absolutly fantastic in every single way. He was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly but above all, he was very considerated and caring toward my elderly mother. At all times, he was looking after her in order to make sure that she fully enjoyed her time in Fatima. The tour experience was awsome! We were able to visit the Fatima Santuary, attend the 11:00 am mass, visit the churches and the tombs of Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia, etc. Jorge shared with us some very useful "inside tips" in order to make our experience even more memorable. After visiting the sanctuary, Jorge took us to have lunch and after that we went to visit the houses were Lucia, Jacinta y Francisco lived. Besides that, as a bonus track, he took us to other two places that were not included in the tour description: the church were Jacinta and Francisco were baptized and the first cementery were both of them were buried before being placed in the sanctuary. The whole experience was FANTASTIC and we do not have enough words to thank Jorge for his great job and empathy!
