Nosso meio dia começa no ponto de vista Pico dos Barcelos, uma vista muito bonita de todo o Funchal, onde podemos ver diferentes locais da cidade e ter uma vista incrível para fotos lindas. Continuando, vamos em direção a uma das maiores atrações turísticas da Madeira, Eira do Serrado a uma altura de 1053m (3455 pés), onde podemos desfrutar da magnífica vista do Vale das Nunas, que uma vez foi um refúgio para as Nunas do Mosteiro de Santa Clara durante a invasão dos Privados Francês para a ilha. Durante o nosso passeio, pararemos em alguns pontos de vista para ver o Rio Socorrido e contar a história da Madeira Velha com algumas estradas antigas estreitas construídas nas montanhas.

A wonderful afternoon of amazing scenery and plenty of information provided by our driver Marco who provided a very informative commentary throughout our trip. He was very flexible and met our need to take things slowly. Private tours mean you can see much more and move at your own pace.

We made a great tour in Funchal. Our guide Duarte took us through the island on a wonderful tour, with stops at points with spectacular views, a lot of history about these places and culture, in addition to presenting us with the local flavors; fruit and wooden wines, crowning all this with his sympathy and cordiality, a true and passionate Madeiranese.
