Visitaremos o Zaanse Schans, uma encantadora aldeia histórica de preservação cheia de casas tradicionais e moinhos de vento icônicos. Você terá a oportunidade de explorar os moinhos de vento, assistir a molduras sendo feitas, e desfrutar de uma deliciosa experiência de degustação de queijo. Depois, vamos para o Keukenhof, o jardim de primavera mais impressionante do mundo! Os jardins estão abertos de 20 de março a 11 de maio de 2025, e apresentam cerca de 7 milhões de flores da primavera, incluindo tulipas, papagaios, jacintos e crocodilos. Tenha em mente que nem todas as flores florescem ao mesmo tempo, portanto, a exposição pode variar ao longo da estação.

Chegamos ao Zaanse Schans. Esta é uma vila preservada com uma variedade de casas históricas, armazéns e moinhos industriais em funcionamento. Parece que você está viajando no tempo! Você experimentará como era a vida entre os séculos XVIII e XIX. Desfrutaremos de um agradável passeio passando pelas antigas casas de madeira com seus detalhes originais preservados, como portas cerimoniais e vergas esculpidas, provaremos o chocolate local na loja de chocolates, concluindo com uma visita a um moinho de vento em funcionamento.
Na queijaria de Henry Willig teremos uma degustação de queijos Gouda e Edam. Eles estão entre os 10 melhores produtores de queijo do mundo. Se você é um amante de queijo… você está no paraíso dos queijos! Eles têm 30 sabores e desenham os queijos especificamente para viagens.
Demonstração de artesanato em sapato de madeira. Sempre quis saber como é feito um entupimento? Participe da demonstração de artesanato em calçados de madeira e descubra. No museu dos tamancos contaremos tudo sobre tamancos. Você pode até experimentar ou comprar um par de sapatos de madeira!
Uma visita à última fábrica de tintas do mundo “De Kat”. Foi originalmente construído em 1781. É um moinho octogonal com tampa giratória e galeria externa. Desde a sua restauração e reconstrução parcial em 1960, foi equipado para moer materiais de coloração como pigmentos. Após uma explicação de como funciona o moinho de vento, você tem a oportunidade de subir no moinho e fazer lindas fotos na galeria externa.

Had an awesome day visiting windmills and viewing tulips with Esther! She had great insight into how windmills work and millers operate, being a miller’s daughter herself (hence Windmill Girl!). She also knew all the best photo spots and took great photos! Super friendly and generous, too, with great taste in music. We had a super fun day with her!

Incredible trip! Esther was fun, friendly and informative. Loved the local knowledge and ties to the area. Early in flower season she made sure we saw as much as possible, just one among many efforts made to see that we had an exceptional day. Our guide’s name was Esther and she is a native of Nederland and actually grew up in a working windmill that her parents still own and operate today. Bring a local means that she has additional information and unique perspectives to share as you go from place to place. We did the windmill and tulip tour. It was March 21st so just a bit too early to see the tulips in bloom. We did still see fields of yellow daffodils which were pretty, but the tour was quite expensive and we were a bit disappointed that the tulip farm didn’t offer a “low season” rate or at least throw in lunch or something. I would definitely recommend hiring Esther as your guide, but if you’re going to see the tulips, she tells us that mid-April until end of May is the best time to go.

The Keukenhof gardens are only open for seven weeks a year, and it all depends on Mother Nature what will be in bloom during that time.
