O Palácio Bang Pa-In é um antigo palácio que remonta à era de Ayutthaya. O Palácio Real em Bang Pa-In tem uma história que remonta ao século XVII. O palácio é dividido em 2 zonas, uma é a zona interna que é usada pela família real como local de descanso, a outra zona é a zona externa que é aberta para pessoas normais e turistas. A arquitetura e o estilo artístico deste palácio são realmente uma obra-prima, há arte esculpida em todas as paredes, o piso da câmara principal é de ladrilho Jay com tinta artística em cada ladrilho, e a área ao redor é decorada com móveis e decoração chineses.
É um dos templos mais antigos e significativos da história de Ayutthaya, pois abrigou a relíquia sagrada do Buda. O templo está localizado na área do Parque Histórico de Ayutthaya, onde importantes cerimônias reais da era de Ayutthaya foram realizadas.
A cidade histórica de Ayutthaya, fundada em 1350. A cidade foi atacada e arrasada pelo exército birmanês em 1767, que incendiou a cidade e forçou os habitantes a abandoná-la. A cidade nunca foi reconstruída no mesmo local e permanece hoje conhecida como um extenso sítio arqueológico. Ayutthaya é hoje uma ruína arqueológica, caracterizada pelos restos de altas prang (torres relicárias) e mosteiros budistas de proporções monumentais, que dão uma ideia do tamanho passado da cidade e do esplendor da sua arquitetura.
Construído em 1630 pelo rei Prasat Thong para homenagear sua mãe, Wat Chai Wattanaram foi concebido como uma réplica do templo de Angkor. O estilo arquitetônico influenciado pelo templo de Angkor no Camboja - sua característica única é um grande prang central (pagode em estilo Khmer) cercado por prangs menores.
Phra Mongkhon Bophit é uma das maiores imagens de bronze de Buda na Tailândia com suas medidas de (aproximadamente) 9,5 metros de largura e uma altura de 12,5 metros (sem o pedestal). A imagem de Buda está sentada na posição de Subjugar Mara. Wat Mongkhon Bophit é um complexo de templos 'ativos', e ao longo do dia muitas pessoas visitam e adoram a imagem de Buda.
O Templo não é apenas um local histórico significativo, mas também é considerado o centro espiritual dos tailandeses por um longo tempo. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet é o monastério real e, portanto, nenhum monge tem permissão para residir. No coração do templo, há três pagodes cingaleses adjacentes (ou em forma de sino) situados em plataformas retangulares. Acredita-se que essas plataformas eram a base das casas reais no período de Ayutthaya.

Our guide (Wat, whose name is something else but said to call him this) was a wealth of information throughout the whole day. He was also very accommodating to what we wanted to do/see. We weren’t interested in stopping for lunch, which he completely understood and it was nice to have the day shortened slightly by that and get back to Bangkok with time to still spend the day around our hotel.

We had an excellent experience with our guide Rawat for a private tour. He came early for our pick up and explained how the day will proceed. Rawat was knowledgeable about surroundings and spoke about it. The tour can be tailored to how long or short you want to see each site. The tour was seamless as I did not want to think about where to go and the logistics. Driver was great too as he drove efficient and took short cut backroads to avoid traffic. If you don’t want to do the tour group bus thing and want to do a tour at your own pace then check this out.

Excellent tour from Bangkok to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace and Auytthaya. Our guide Kulsaya and our driver were excellent. Kulsaya contacted us the day before to introduce herself and check we knew the dress code requirements for the Summer Palace as they are stricter than for temples (i.e. no shorts for men). Pick-up from our hotel was punctual and followed by a drive of around 1h30 to the beautiful Summer Palace, which was amazing to visit. After that we visited three different locations at amazing Auytthaya, a true taste of Thailand's history! Kulsaya was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the history of all the sights and of Thailand - we learned so much! She was also extremely good at finding the perfect spot for photos! It was an incredibly hot day and we were struggling quite a bit with the heat but Kulsaya was professional, thoughtful and fun the whole time, even stopping to get us ice-cold bottles of water to keep us hydrated and cool when we exited from one of the temple sights. Handy hint - all of the Auytthaya sights we visited had free umbrellas available to borrow to keep the sun off so that did help a bit. Also you can't enter with water or iced drinks etc - if you have any you will have to drink or dispose of them before you'll be allowed to enter. The whole day ran perfectly to schedule, apart from the return journey due to the traffic. But our driver handled it well, knew a few short cuts and drove safely at all times. Definitely a great tour to see two of Thailand's most amazing historical sights, highly recommended!

I reserved this tour for my family and I but I needed to change the date of the tour because of a work situation and when 2 months before the tour original date I tryed to move forward the date of the tour, this people quoted me the tour on the new date with almost 100% increase in the price. Fortunately they let me cancel the reservation without a charge but we are very disapointed
