Antiga Tirinto, um sítio arqueológico de grande importância histórica.
O sítio arqueológico de Micenas inclui a acrópole fortificada e as áreas residenciais e de sepultamento ao redor, localizadas principalmente a oeste e sudoeste da acrópole. A maioria dos monumentos visíveis remonta ao grande período de florescimento do centro, de 1350 a 1200 a.C. As enormes muralhas ciclópicas cercam a acrópole quase triangular, acessível do noroeste através do famoso Portão do Leão, o símbolo do poder dos governantes micênicos. O portão recebeu o nome dos dois leões de frente esculpidos em relevo e colocados no triângulo de relevo acima da porta, uma característica da arquitetura micênica. Explore o Tesouro de Atreu ou Tumba de Agamenon, uma grande tumba em forma de colmeia na colina de Panagitsa em Micenas, construída durante a Idade do Bronze por volta de 1250 a.C. O lintel de pedra acima da entrada pesa 120 toneladas, com dimensões de aproximadamente 8,3 x 5,2 x 1,2 metros, a maior do mundo. A tumba foi usada por um período desconhecido.
O Teatro Antigo de Epidauro é um teatro na cidade grega de Epidauro, localizado na extremidade sudeste do santuário dedicado ao antigo deus grego da medicina, Asclépio. É construído no lado oeste do Monte Kynortio, perto do moderno Ligourio, e pertence ao Município de Epidauro. É considerado o mais perfeito teatro grego antigo em termos de acústica e estética. O monumento mantém a estrutura característica de três partes de um teatro helenístico, com o teatro, a orquestra e o palco. O Museu Arqueológico de Epidauro é um museu em Epidauro, Argólida, no Peloponeso. O museu, conhecido por suas reconstruções de templos, colunas e inscrições, foi fundado em 1902 e inaugurado em 1909 para exibir descobertas do antigo sítio de Epidauro e da área circundante.

The experience was not as described. It was simply being driven to sites and then left alone. There was no guiding involved, although the driver made an attempt to guide when we complained.
The product description clearly states that a certified tour guide is not included and the driver is not a tour guide. Thank you very much!
We made the trip to Mycenae and Epidaurus sanctuary with George as our driver. Although we were the only 2 booked for the trip George welcomed us and made the day very special. He is a charming and genuine young man who is impossible not to like. His knowledge of the region is extensive (he grew up in the area) and he related the history and mythology of the destinations which gave the trip depth and interest. He was also a font of local knowledge. We looked at several alternative ways of visiting these important sites but in terms of ease, comfort and enjoyment this trip and company were an excellent choice. We had a wonderful, informative day, George was great company and I would highly recommend this trip. Thanks George we really enjoyed the day and meeting you.

Our private tour to Mycenae and Epidaurus was great - our driver and guide (Kostas) was excellent - very personable and just a really nice guy. We loved talking with him and learning about his life in Greece, and he provided loads of great information for us on both sites and the countryside and villages along the way. The theater at Epidaurus was amazing, and the Mycenae site and ruins were extremely interesting - with absolutely incredible scenic views!!

The sites we visited were amazing. Our driver did not speak English so he was not able to answer our questions. He was very professional and a good driver.
