O Lago Mladost (Езеро Младост, Велешко Езеро) é um lago artificial no rio Otovica, localizado a 11 km da cidade de Veles. O lago foi construído com o objetivo de irrigar vinhedos e plantações agrícolas na área que freqüentemente sofria com a seca no passado.
A cidade velha de Stobi "... Stobis, vetus urbs ...", como o historiador romano Livy o nomeou, na confluência dos rios Crna e Vardar, era a maior cidade da parte norte da província romana Macedônia, mais tarde capital do país. Província romana Macedônia Secunda, um importante centro urbano, militar, administrativo, comercial e religioso de dois grandes impérios: romano e bizantino antigo. Localizado no coração da Macedônia, na encruzilhada entre o Mundo Egeu e os Balcãs Centrais, durante todo o período de sua existência, foi um lugar onde as realizações culturais do mundo antigo se reuniram de uma maneira única. Hoje, os restos deste famoso sítio arqueológico são igualmente facilmente acessíveis a partir do corredor E-75 da rodovia internacional, tornando-o um destino turístico muito popular na Macedônia. A iluminação noturna das muralhas da cidade e dos monumentos preservados também enfatizam sua beleza e atratividade.
Demir Kapija é uma cidade da Macedônia, localizada perto dos portões ameaçadores de calcário com o mesmo nome. Possui 3.725 habitantes. A cidade é a sede do município de Demir Kapija.

My boyfriend and I had a delightful experience with our private tour guided by Tony. He was very careful in getting his hat to the winery stopping at a magnificent Roman ruins which is right on the silk Road where two major rivers come together. Then we went on for a delightful lunch and tour of the winery. It’s a small winery, which is the perfect size for my wife and myself to enjoy. There was no rush for the lunch and it was excellent. The wines were fantastic!
First coffee stop not special, there are probably nicer locations. Archaeological site you have to love but guides have given good info and it was special to see. Winery Popova Kula was worth it! Clear explanation of the vineyard and lunch consisting of macedonic dishes and 4 different wines was exquisite! Extra service was that the guides dropped us off at the airport.

One of the best tours I have ever done in my life! First I did a tour of Matka Canyon and was then so impressed I booked a tour to a winery and the Roman ruins at Stopi. My tour guide Zarko was excellent and extremely passionate about the history and knew the answer to every question in a variety of subjects ranging from ancient history tol modern politics. If you are coming to Skopje, I cannot recommend them enough.
Definitely recommend this tour. Our guide (and guide in training) were knowledgeable, and generous of spirit- answering our questions and sharing their own experiences. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day in the off-season. The visit to the archeological site was very interesting, and we both appreciated the winery lunch/tasting. The food was traditional and delicious and each course had a wine pairing.
Interesting with the remains from Stobi and the city that was there already centuries before our era. Very knowledgeable and engaged guide who also explained and told about contemporary Macedonia and current events. Nice visit to Popova Kula Winery. It would have been good to be able to order food from a selection, but it was a well-selected wine package for the meal. Beautiful setting and way out to the vineyard and towards the southern part of Macedonia.
