Our driver was right on time with a beautifully clean and comfortable car. He was extremely helpful with our mobility impaired family member. He started the tour with a detailed explanation of options and was continually updating us on our alternatives as we drove around the island. He went out of his way to minimize the walking effort at Furnas and was deeply knowledgeable about the history of the island, the Portuguese people, and the sites we were privileged to visit.
Joao was an outstanding tour guide.Great communication and timely . He made it so much , Loved the Cheese factory and lunch stop.He is the guide you want👍
John gave us a wonderful private tour around Sao Miguel island. I was in a mobility scooter and he made me very comfortable. He pulled over for better viewing with very little walking required. We were able to customize our tour. John was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and made us feel very comfortable. We were picked up and dropped off at the cruise port in plenty of time. He even took pics of us along the way. I highly recommend this personal excursion and felt it was a good value for the money.
Wow, what an amazing place and what an amazing tour, caldera’s, hot springs, coast and island views, tea plantations, lakes and waterfalls. João is a fantastic guide and took us to some marvellous places, his English was great and he was so obliging to ensure we got as much as we could from our time in Sao Miguel. The communication with us before the tour was first class and he was ready and waiting for us exactly where he said he would be. We told him the places we wanted to go and he created a bespoke tour to cover these as well as add in everything else he could around this to ensure we had a memorable day. The Mercedes vehicle he picked us up in was impeccably clean and very comfortable and João was a very safe driver. João thank you so much for making our day so special, we will be back in the future for you to show us more of your beautiful island.
