Esta viagem é um itinerário separado de meio dia ao leste de Jeju para muitos hóspedes de cruzeiros que visitam Jeju com estadias curtas. Se você escolher o lado leste de Jeju, poderá apreciar a atuação das mergulhadoras de Jeju em Seongsan Ilchulbong, que é designado pela UNESCO. Há uma apresentação única apenas às 14h todos os dias. Todas as segundas-feiras, o Museu Haenyeobeok e o Stone Culture Plateau estão fechados. Então, ela é substituída por uma bela praia de hamdeok.

Toda a vila, que preserva o local de vida do povo da antiga Jeju, foi designada como Importante Patrimônio Cultural Folclórico. Embora possa ser considerada uma espécie de aldeia folclórica, ela difere das aldeias folclóricas normais porque as pessoas ainda vivem nela até hoje. Os moradores da aldeia atuam como guias voluntários para oferecer aos visitantes todo tipo de informação. Vale a pena reservar um tempo para ver o Zelkova de folhas serradas e o hackberry japonês no centro da vila.
Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, uma atração marcante de Jeju, foi formada há cerca de 5.000 anos a partir de uma erupção de magma no fundo do oceano. É especialmente famoso como um local para observar o nascer do sol, conhecido por ser um dos dez melhores cenários requintados da Ilha de Jeju. Além de ver o nascer do sol, Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone também é conhecido por ser um excelente local para caminhadas. A Trilha Seongsan-Ojo conecta duas aldeias cruzando o pico. Outra trilha popular, a Trilha Jijil, oferece uma visão mais detalhada do geoparque designado pela UNESCO, bem como da cultura local de Jeju. Recomenda-se caminhar por um desses caminhos para realmente vivenciar a região; caminhar até o cume oferece vistas da vasta cratera vulcânica no centro e do oceano azul que cerca a área. Para completar sua viagem, vá ao Porto de Seongsanpo para observar haenyeo (mergulhadoras) trabalhando.
Jeju haenyeo são as mães fortes de Jeju e os pilares espirituais dos residentes de Jeju. Além disso, a vida da comunidade Jeju haenyeo é um modelo que a humanidade deveria almejar. Jeju haenyeo formou uma comunidade baseada no mérito e decidida democraticamente por meio de discussões. Ela não apenas cuidou dos idosos e enfermos, como Halmang Badang e Geseok, mas também levantou fundos com seus lucros materiais para contribuir com a sociedade, como aldeias e escolas. Ela também inventou diversas engenhocas para conviver com o mar, como varredura de praias, roubo de ouro e diálise. A cultura Jeju haenyeo foi reconhecida por seu valor e foi registrada como Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial da Humanidade pela UNESCO em 30 de novembro de 2016 (hora local).
O comprimento total do Manjanggul Lava Tube é de cerca de 7,4km. É um tubo de lava que é parcialmente multicapa. A largura do túnel principal é de 18m e sua altura é de 23m. É um dos maiores tubos de lava do mundo. Existem muitos tubos de lava no mundo, mas o Manjanggul Lava Tube tem um significado significativo em que foi formado há milhares de anos atrás, e é muito bem preservado. Portanto, é muito valioso para pesquisadores e cientistas. Devido ao afundamento do teto, existem 3 entradas. O que os turistas podem usar é a segunda entrada e só é permitido entrar até 1 km. Existem várias formações de cavernas no túnel de lava no tubo de lava Manjanggul, tais como estalactitas, estalagmitas, pedras de fluxo, tubos de lava, prateleiras de lava e rafts de lava. Em particular, a coluna de lava que está localizada no final da área turística tem cerca de 7,6m de altura e é conhecida como a coluna de lava mais alta do mundo.
Gwangchigi Beach possui uma das vistas mais primitivas e espetaculares ao longo da costa de Jeju. Na distância é Seongsan Sunrise Peak, um Patrimônio Natural Mundial da UNESCO e joia da Ilha Jeju. Na área estão muitos cafés e restaurantes da moda, bem como acomodações de viagem e divertidos o que fazer com a família, como o Aquário Aquaplanet. É também onde Olle caminhadas 1 e 2 se conectam.

The rain came down and Tera had the driver stop so that we could get rain coats. We did our tour in the rain and still had a wonderful time. Tera was great!!! One person thought they left their phone and Tera and the driver took them back to look for it. Great team had a beautiful day even though it rained.

Boy was our Guide Lee fantastic. He picked us up right at the cruise terminal, and took off on a great tour of the island. We had two requests (eating black pork and drinking Shoju) which he managed to pack into the full day tour. He was very knowledgeable and his English was superb.

Our guide Ko was wonderful. It was a very rainy day and our ship had shortened the time we would be in port by a lot, but Ko managed to find things we could see and do in the time we had. We would love to visit Jeju again sometime to see more of the island. Would definitely hire Ko again.
