This was such a lovely day trip from Donostia. Mateo was flexible with pick up time and location. There are a few scenic stops along the way where you can see the dramatic landscape, coastline, and small villages. The wine tasting was at an ideal spot overlooking the vineyards and sea. We opted for lunch in Getaria at a fabulous spot called Txoko. We were flying out of Bilbao that evening so Mateo helped build our itinerary around that. Even coordinated a drop off at the airport for us! Truly a catered and special experience. I loved that it was just my husband and I on the tour as well. Mateo is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and wine.
We had an amazing tour with Matteo to Getaria and the Txakoli wine region. The day was beautifully organized, combining stunning coastal scenery, charming villages, and excellent local wine. Matteo was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we learned so much about the Basque culture, gastronomy, and Txakoli wine traditions. The winery visit and tasting were fantastic, and Getaria was one of the highlights of our trip. We truly enjoyed the experience and Matteo’s company throughout the day. This was an excellent tour. Mateo couldn’t be better. We would definitely do this again. Maybe to Rioja next time.

This tour was one of my favorites in the Basque Country. I was totally charmed by the beauty of the Getaria fishing village. Mateo showed me the best views of this place and in the winery. Loved the wine tasting! Don't miss this unique place!

We planned this tour extremely last minute, but Mateo was very accomodating and was able to get us the wine tour reservation for the next day. We travelled to Getaria and then the wine tasting, and the whole trip lasted 4-4:30 hours. Mateo was very knowlegeable about the region and its history, and Getaria is a must visit if you are visiting the Basque reigon and a foodie! The wine tour was fantastic, with goegeous views over the sea. In all, a great experience!

We really enjoyed this private tour. Mateo was very knowledgeable about the San Sebastián area and took us to some great spots. The Getaria fishing village was wonderful to walk around and the Txakoli winery was very good. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. The jazz festival was going on while we were there. Loved the tour!

Our Tour guide Matteo was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for a nicer person. The best part of the tour was our visit to Gitaria where we shopped a little,learned a lot of history and ended up staying to eat fresh fish at an amazing local restaurant where they prepare the fish on a open fire outside.Matteo set it all up for us. We learned about the local wine which my husband really enjoyed, so much so that we ordered a bottle at lunch. Highly recommend

What an amazing experience with Mateo! The whole day was perfectly organized and full of great moments.
