Adoro discutir o passado e o presente da Inglaterra com meus convidados enquanto viajamos para Windsor no meu Mercedes. Podemos falar sobre o próprio castelo, ou qualquer outro aspecto de nossa longa história. Além de mostrar os tesouros em vista, eu gosto de ilustrar aspectos adicionais da história do castelo compartilhando materiais que eu preparei através do meu tablet, os excelentes guias de áudio irão levá-lo através dos Salões de Estado & St George Chapel onde a orientação é proibida. Na Capela de São Jorge, você encontrará a maravilha da melhor obra-prima gótica da Inglaterra, absorverá a atmosfera indeterminada que um espaço com tanta história cria, ficará nas tumbas de alguns dos mais poderosos reis da Inglaterra e prestará seus homenagens à Rainha Elizabeth II, que também está enterrada lá. Depois de pegar a mudança de guarda podemos caminhar ao longo do terraço norte na frente, onde se pode ver o colégio Eton através do Templo. No nosso regresso ao carro, veremos alguns dos aspectos mais encantadores da cidade velha de Windsor.

Assista à troca dos guardas a pé, algumas das melhores unidades militares da Grã-Bretanha exibindo exercícios de precisão em seu uniforme cerimonial. No St Georges Hall, examine os brasões de centenas de cavaleiros, dos célebres aos desonrados. Local dos nascimentos, casamentos e enterros de reis e rainhas por mil anos, este é o coração da Inglaterra.

Eu vou pegar você diretamente dos degraus do seu hotel em um Mercedes. Os horários habituais são 9.30 para um passeio de manhã ou meio-dia para a tarde. Mark was outstanding - gave us really good insight to what we were going to see on the way as well us descibing the history of what we were looking at.
We had a great guide in Mark! He knew great photo spots and extra bits of info about Windsor. Travel to and from was all taken care of for us from hotel and back
Mark is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. He greeted us at our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes and our drive to Windsor Castle was most enjoyable. Once we arrived at the castle he led us to the various points of interest and provided expert commentary. Upon the conclusion of our visit to the castle he led us through the charming Windsor High Street back to the car for our return to our hotel. Could not have been better! 🥳🥳🥳
We had a fantastic guided tour that started with our driver/guide Gareth picking us up from our Airbnb. Gareth is extremely professional and personable. The tour of the chapel, state apartments and the grounds was amazing. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us at a pace that was sensitive to one of our family member’s mobility challenges. This guided tour was the highlight of our stay in London.
Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and the private transportation was essential given the crowds. We saw all the highlights and had a nice lunch in town. Only negative was we invited our guide to join us for lunch and he started talking politics with us … ugh .., we travelled to get away from that. Anyway we nodded and ignored him. Otherwise a great day.
Our tour at Windsor Castle could not have been better. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant and fun to be with. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has the slightest interest in English history or the royal family.
Gareth our tour driver and guide arrived early and patiently waited for us. Gareth provided excellent information and had an excellent knowledge of all things. He was extremely helpful and very friendly and explained many things on the journey. At the castle he guided us through each section and was able to point out specific. Things we would have missed. He was extremely helpful and patient with my husband who struggled with the walking around the castle. Gareth was very good and waited with us for rest breaks. An absolutely great day out and an excellent tour guide.
