Logo após o embarque em sua acomodação na Cidade do Cabo, seguiremos pela estrada nacional N1 em direção à propriedade Fairview Wine and Cheese.
Após a nossa chegada à propriedade Fairview Wine and Cheese, seu guia turístico irá acompanhá-lo até a área de degustação de vinhos. Passeando entre as 4 cápsulas de degustação de vinhos e a deliciosa Deli de Queijos e Condimentos, terá a oportunidade de provar seis dos melhores vinhos e queijos produzidos nesta região. Vinho e queijo estão disponíveis para compra.
Dirigimos uma curta distância até Babylonstoren. Tendo como pano de fundo as montanhas Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof e Franschhoek, Babylonstoren é uma das mais belas propriedades vinícolas das Vinhas do Cabo. A propriedade possui uma horta e uma horta e um restaurante da fazenda à mesa chamado Babel (reserva obrigatória). Existem outros dois restaurantes na propriedade, o Greenhouse e o Bakery. O Greenhouse serve almoços e bebidas em estilo piquenique, enquanto o Bakery serve jantares informais. Nossa última parada na vinícola será na Marianne Wine Estate. Marianne produz algumas das melhores cultivares de Vinho Tinto da África do Sul. O vinho Floreal de Marianne foi escolhido a dedo pelo Chef Gordon Ramsey para o 90º aniversário de Nelson Mandela no Palácio de Buckingham.
Fazemos um passeio panorâmico pela Dorp Street, na cidade de Stellenbosch, a segunda cidade mais antiga da África do Sul, em um passeio de orientação pela cidade. Veja as históricas casas em estilo holandês do Cabo e a famosa Universidade Stellenbosch.
De lá, voltamos para a Cidade do Cabo para desembarque em sua acomodação entre 14:00 e 14:30pm

Gordon was an amazing tour guide and took us to some of the best wineries in Stellenbosch. We did not feel rushed and we were able to really soak in the experience. I highly recommend this half day tour if you’re looking to get out of the city and see some beautiful landscapes nearby.

We LOVED our tour guide, Ray who was so professional and informative, and the wine venues, themselves, were great. Viator, however, isn’t to be trusted with scheduling. We’ve only used them twice, in two different parts of the world, and they botched our schedules, both times. Go direct with local tour guides and bypass Viator if at all possible.

We had a wonderful day with our private driver- It was a last minute booking and the driver Thomas was so kind and fun! Very knowlegeable about wines and the area. He chose 3 different wineries - each had food (usually to purchase) and a lovely tasting. He would make sure that they would seat us right away by communicating with those in charge. I highly recommend this trip!

We visited 2 estates, Demorgenzen and Marianne. Both were pleasant and picturesque. Reagan was our friendly& well versed guide&driver, he shares some knowledge and history of the estates and we will definitely be back to visit more farms and ask for him by name.

We had the best day visiting Stellenbosch. Reagan was the best guide, with excellent local knowledge and kept us laughing throughout. We went to Demorganzan and marianne winery’s with a lovely stop off in Stellenbosch town in between, visiting the local museum. It was a perfect day out, with the nicest guide we could have asked for. Would highly recommend doing this tour and ask for Reagan!
