Our family of 3 had a wonderful time with Mark. We were able to see many dolphins, shore birds and a few different types of crabs. Being on a private boat allowed us to get closer to things and see some stuff you would miss on a larger boat. The 8am tour is worth getting up for since you are out when the dolphins are feeding. Highly recommend.
Captain Mark was an amazing captain and guide. We saw so many dolphins and he even took us to hopefully catch a pod strand feeding, and we did!! We highly recommend Captain Mark and Cross Island Cruises

Mark was a phenomenal guide on this magical trip. He was friendly and knowledgeable both the wildlife in the history of the landscape and culture and knew exactly where to go to see dolphins, a manatee and other beautiful wildlife. Mark was an amazing guide on our dolphin cruise. He is very knowledgeable about the eco system and was extremely patient and attentive to my grandchildren who were 7 and 4. We saw a ton of dolphins, birds, and he even showed us a stone crab that he caught. It’s so nice to be on a private boat so that you get the guides full attention. We highly recommend Mark…you will not be disappointed!

If you're ever in Hilton Head and want a more personal dolphin watch experience than the big boats, reach out to Captain Mark of Cross Island Cruises. He gave us a great ride. We saw lots of dolphin. He told us some history of the area. We got to climb an oyster mound, and he even went back to get the cap that blew off my head (Scott's brand new Salty Dog ballcap). Great experience! Our family of 6 really enjoyed Captain Mark's private Dolphin tour - everything was great from the communication before the trip, to the personalized experience during the trip, and of course the dolphins that we were able to see during our trip. Captain Mark gave all sorts of extra information about the wildlife in the area and answered any questions that we had - which added a lot more to the trip than we would have been able to get on a larger charter boat.
