Começaremos esta incrível experiência com uma busca em seu hotel aproximadamente às 08h00 a caminho do Nelson Mandela Gateway para Robben Island para uma experiência de 3 a 4 horas para ver onde Nelson Mandela e tantos outros civis, políticos foram presos durante o regime de apartheid. Evite a fila de compra dos ingressos, pois este passeio terá seu ingresso pré-reservado com antecedência. Observe que o Robben Island Museum se reserva o direito de cancelar qualquer excursão a seu próprio critério. Em caso de cancelamento, você terá direito a reembolso total ou opção de reagendamento. Seu motorista-guia não irá acompanhá-lo até a Ilha, pois eles têm seus próprios guias. Você estará no barco com outras pessoas. Você receberá um tour completo por um ex-prisioneiro.
Você terá uma parada de 15 minutos para uma oportunidade de fotografia no Bo-Kaap (as casas coloridas).
Logo após retornar da sua experiência Robben Island Tour, vamos permitir que você pegue um sanduíche ou almoço leve por conta própria em um restaurante próximo. There was nothing wrong with the arrangements and the pick up, but the Island tour was cancelled at short notice due to bad weather and the mountain tour was cancelled due to a fire in an electric car battery in their garage. We can’t really fault the arrangements but we can’t comment on the tours.

Jean-Marie was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. Table Mountain was closed, so that was disappointing, but he suggested Kirstenbosch Gardens instead and provided an excellent tour of the gardens as a substitute.

What an easy and interesting travel day! Jean-Marie was our guide and he picked us up and dropped us off right from our hotel! He had so much energy, excitement, enthusiasm, that you couldn’t help but get super excited for the day. We began with a trip to robben island where we took the ferry and then explored the island on a guided bus tour and then got to have a tour of the prison told by a guide who was formerly imprisoned on the island! Fascinating! Then we opted to shop instead of eat lunch and Jean-Marie was happy to accommodate! Then we traveled up to table mountain on the cable car and just as we were about to leave the clouds parted and we were able to see the majestic sights of Cape Town! Truly an amazing tour and we felt very well taken care of!

What a great guide we had. My first ever guided tour with my partner. I had a fantastic tour with a very skillful and cool guide. I truly recommend them whenever you visit cape town, you won't regret it.
When we booked the Tour I read all the reviews previously and it was clear that guide Jean-Marie was Loved by all- so I was very excited when he was our guide-without a doubt he now has two new people that love him!! Jean-Marie’s Excellent knowledge of Cape Town and all the area from historical, folklore, flora, present day Definitely made the trip interesting and was so appreciated but the Most important aspect of guide Jean- Marie was his authentic caring and great heart which enabled us to have of our BEST experience ever with a tour guide-You could see his joy in making sure that all our needs and special requests were met-He definitely goes more than the distance and lived up to all Positives in his reviews -PLUS +++++Zion/Viator You have a sparkling Gem in Jean-Marie!!!!!
Great views from the Mountain and Robben Island tour by ex-political prisoners who endured such harsh and torture was very moving and hopefully the world will never forget.
This is not a private tour and should not be advertised as such. We were picked up by a guide who esstially dropped us off at the docks. The tour to Robben Island was delayed, due to technical difficulties so we spent at 1-1.5 hours waiting. We were told by our guide that we would be met by a guide like him on the island. When we arrived that was not the case. We were just part of the general tour. We called our guide and he assured us that the rest of the tour was "private". Upon returning from Robben Island our guide drove us to Table Mountain, rode with us to the top, should us a model of the mountain, a picture of an animal and said he would meet us back at the tram to depart. Besides picking us up and getting our tickets in advance, this was not a private tour. His manner was very abrupt and I often felt like we were an inconvenience to his day.
