Bait Al Zubair é um museu, localizado na Rua Al Saidiya, Old Muscat, Omã. O museu tem uma extensa coleção de armas antigas, incluindo kanjar, equipamentos domésticos e fantasias. Fora do museu há uma vila e um souk de Omã em escala real

O Palácio Al Alam "Palácio da Bandeira" é um palácio localizado em Old Muscat, Omã. Foi usado como palácio cerimonial pelo sultão Qaboos bin Said Al Said. Uma das seis residências sultânicas do monarca, tem uma história de mais de 200 anos, e foi construída sob a supervisão do Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, o 7º avô direto do Sultão Qaboos.
Al Jalali Fort, ou Ash Sharqiya Fort, é um forte no porto de Old Muscat, Omã. O forte foi construído pelos portugueses sob Filipe I de Portugal na década de 1580 para proteger o porto depois que Mascate foi duas vezes saqueada pelas forças otomanas. Ele caiu para as forças de Omã em 1650. Durante as guerras civis entre 1718 e 1747, o forte foi duas vezes capturado pelos persas que foram convidados a ajudar um dos imãs rivais. O forte foi amplamente reconstruído mais tarde.
Fort Al-Mirani é um forte, originalmente construído pelos portugueses, no porto da cidade de Old Muscat, Omã.

We had a wonderful day today visiting the Grand Mosque, Mutra souk, Parliament buildings,Al Zubair Museum and the cream was the visit to Royal Opera house. Our guide Amer, was really good fun to be with. He explained all the details of each place and made it a very memorable day for us. He was very good with taking pictures, helping us shop around in Mutra souk. He gave us a true taste of Oman by being so hospitable and making us try the Omani bread and the amazing Omani coffee with dates. We are very grateful for such a lovely day and we look forward to the rest of the trip. Thank you Sunshine tours !

The tour was organised with clear arrangements and an excellent guide who explained everything clearly. The admission fees were affordable, and the guide even helped us bargain at the souk — such a nice touch! Truly worth it!

We packed a lot into 8 hours with our expert guide Adil. He displayed good local knowledge, good English and a good sense of humour. Our tour covered all the itinerary items, with times spent at each set by us. Plus a few extras. We finished up watching wave surfers and doing donuts on the beach…

The tour comprised of sultan Qaboos grand mosque, mutrah souq and fort, and visit to national museum of Oman. The overall trip was very rewarding and I would definitely love to revisit these places again.
