Our guide was charming and thoroughly familiar with Oaxaca and its fascinating history and extremely varied cultural background. My husband and I really enjoyed our tour.
Our guide was a nice woman. She took us to the markets which were interesting. However her English was limited so difficult to get much information about culture, history and the area.

Had a great time with Oscar! He customised the tours as we wanted to, and his knowledge of Oaxaca central eateries was commendable.
Unlike a lot of other tours, this one is totally customizable. This was our first visit to Oaxaca city and our first day. We asked Oscar to give us an introduction to the city highlights and help us get oriented. That is exactly what he did and did it well. We got culture, history, and excellent food and drink recommendations, and highlights of shopping. Oscar was awesome! He grew up here and isVery knowledgeable and anxious to share the beauty of the area. He was patient and very interested in what was important to us. The price of the tour is very reasonable, indeed even too reasonable, for three hours with a private guide. Oscar’s time and knowledge is worth much more than that! It was a great experience and we would not hesitate to do it again.
We had the absolute best experience with Ruth as our food tour guide in Oaxaca! She was kind, sweet, and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did she share fascinating historical information about the city, but she also made sure to take us to the spots we requested to try. On top of that, she introduced us to some hidden food gems we never would have discovered on our own. Her English was excellent, which made everything so easy and enjoyable. Ruth truly went above and beyond to make the tour both fun and memorable — highly recommend booking with her!
