Todo o Tiger Leaping Gorge é dividido em três partes: a seção superior, a do meio e a inferior. Hoje, a excursão de meio dia de Ljiang a Tiger Leaping Gorge leva a uma exploração de 1,5 a 2 horas da parte superior, localizada na foz do rio Jinsha. Você será pego e deixado no hotel Lijiang / Shuhe.

Nosso motorista e guia assinarão seu nome e o encontrarão no saguão do hotel às 08:30 ou 12:30, depois serão transferidos para o Tiger Leaping Gorge e precisarão de duas horas de carro, 80 km.
Quando nosso guia comprou o ingresso, nosso motorista nos levará ao desfiladeiro. Partimos para a nossa caminhada na parte superior do desfiladeiro do salto do tigre. Faça uma caminhada de 15 a 20 minutos pela estrada de tábuas até a plataforma de observação no fundo do vale. Fortes correntes do rio Jinsha rugem através do vale estreito, com ondas batendo contra as rochas. Por favor, tenha sua câmera pronta para capturar essa vista espetacular. No ponto mais estreito, você verá uma rocha gigante de 13 metros (43 pés) de altura, sentada no meio do rio, cortando abruptamente as torrentes em dois galhos. This is a must at Yunnan Lijiang. Our guide was Mr. Jerry that he was very nice and very helpful. The tiger leaping gorge is fantastic, an amazing gorge experience. Highly recommended.
The meeting time was 09:30 at our hotel where our guide would meet us. As time passed and the guide did not come, I called and found out that he had forgotten!!!! Finally, after many phone calls and negotiations, a girl from our hotel took us to the point where the driver parked his car, one and a half hours after the scheduled time!!!!(11:00) In the messages we sent each other until he came, he told me that because he was late he would pay the entrance fee to Tiger Leaping, but when I reminded him that it was included in the price ($339 for 2 prs), he apologized and said it was his fault . As soon as we got into the car, the tour guide didn't apologize for the inconvenience and started talking to us about the city. When i asked him what it had happened, he told me that the travel agency had not informed him and he didn't know that there was a tour! For the first time in all my years of travelling, the driver and guide were the same person on such an expensive private tour, wasting even more time in parking. Starting late, we found incredible traffic and the time from Lijian to Tiger Leaping instead of 1.5- 2 hours turned into 3 hours, so when we arrived the first parking lot was full and we couldn't get in! Since we had no other choice, he took us to eat at a restaurant (which we paid for) and then we continued the search for a free parking lot The second parking also is full so we finally managed to reach the third at 15:30 ( the scheduled time we should have returned to the hotel). After all that, as soon as we got to the entrance, he informed us that we would have to pay extra for ...escalator!!! I protested and told the tour guide to call his boss and tell him that this was unacceptable for such an expensive tour and finally, the next day he refunded me the money for the escalator Of course we lost all the remaining free time we had at our disposal after the tour. The recent years I have traveled to more than 70 countries and it is the first time I have encountered such bad company...

the views were amazing! all the places we went were so beautiful and our tour guide Mr Stone is really good and efficient. Everything was so easy as we have our local tour guide that helps us a lot. Really recommended! Would like to discover other Yunnan city again with our tour guide.
