A great tour to experience the many aspects of the Cai Dai religion as well as a thorough exposure to the many tactical and strategic challenges faced by soldiers during the Vietnam War and the effective use of vast tunnel warfare complexes.
An excellent enjoyable and informative trip. Laren was a great guide- helpful and very knowledgeable about both the Cu Chi tunnels and Cao Dai temple. We learnt a great deal and had a super time. Laren looked after us well and took photos which we appreciated.
The trip was excellent! Our tour guide Danny was very informative all throughout our journey out of Saigon. The temple was beautiful, and we even got to see part of a funeral service; the tunnels were fascinating, especially with the meaningful historical insight provided throughout. Highly recommended.
The tour guide Luat was good and informative. The pace and the organization of the itenarary were good. The food was above average. The car and driver were good.
Our guide Tai was knowledgeable about the Vietnam war as well as the Cao Dai religion, and was engaging. He was professional and respectful of other tours going on around as well. It was nice to have this private tour as we had full control of the pace and what we did. He did not bring us to any souvenir shops. The car provided was clean, comfortable and well kept. It was a MG, SUV. The driver drove in a safe manner throughout the entire journey. The lunch provided was ok, each person was given a small bowl of rice noodles with beef slices, stir fried vegetables (to share), 2 pieces of deep fried spring rolls filled with vegetables, 1 steamed river prawn, local curry chicken (to share), 1-2 grilled sausages, and a big bowl of rice (to share). It was not spectacular, but it was not bad as well.
This is a wonderfull tour. Our guide Nyhat was excelent very kind gentle and well known Of everyrhing I hardly recomend This tour.
Our hotel sorted this tour by Asiana Link Travel, and it didn’t disappoint, collected from hotel on time and the whole day was brilliant, we were very lucky to have mr Thong (slim Jim) as our guide for the day, he was brilliant! Can highly recommend the tour as both destinations were so very interesting and the information provided by SJ was excellent, lunch was excellent too. we really had a great day and would do it again as the experience of getting in and out of Ho Chi Minh City was amazing too. Highly recommended!
Two of us went on this tour with guide Field, who was consistently polite, thoughtful, entertaining and very informative throughout the tour. On the way to the tunnels, he explained some of the history of the war and its effects on this region. The tunnels site has been turned into a kind of exhibition which really helped us gain a better understanding of wartime conditions, and how desperate of a struggle it must have been. Field did a great job of describing the various areas and giving us more historical context to appreciate what we saw. Visited the temple after seeing the tunnels and reached there before noon, though unfortunately there was no noon service because it was the eve of Tet. Still, it was a very unique temple to visit, well worth checking out if you're in the region (especially if you're with an knowledgeable guide - like Field - who can tell you more about the Cao Dai religion).

Our guide, Viet, was really great. His English was good and his knowledge was vast. Not just of the areas we visited, but of South East Asia and its history. I would definitely recommend this trip and if you're lucky enough to get Viet as your guide, then you'll be assured of a great day.
