Khor Virap - mosteiro armênio, construído em 642, traduzido do armênio significa “buraco profundo”. Khor Virap é um dos santuários da Igreja Apostólica Armênia, um local de peregrinação. O fato mais interessante deste mosteiro é o fato de ter sido construído no local da prisão real, onde Gregório, o Iluminador, havia sido preso anteriormente - o santo padroeiro e o primeiro chefe oficial da Igreja Apostólica Armênia pelo rei armênio por 13 anos . Do território do mosteiro, há uma vista incomum da montanha bíblica de Ararat.

O Mosteiro de Geghard é uma das maiores estruturas arquitetônicas medievais da Armênia. Geghard é completamente escavado em uma caverna, também é chamado de "mosteiro das cavernas". Este mosteiro foi fundado no século IV dC. no lugar da primavera sagrada, originária da caverna. O nome do complexo do mosteiro Geghard (lança) vem da lança Langin'n, que perfurou o corpo de Jesus Cristo na cruz. No momento, essa lança é mantida no museu de Etchmiadzin. O complexo do mosteiro Geghard está incluído na Lista do Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO.
O templo pagão de Garni foi construído na segunda metade do século I pelo rei Trdat III. Este é o único templo pagão que foi preservado no território da Armênia. Após a adoção do cristianismo, tornou-se a residência de verão de Khosrovadukht, irmã do rei Trdat III. Foi destruído em 1679 por um terremoto. Peças, fragmentos de colunas graciosas e pedras nas paredes estavam espalhadas pelo templo. Supõe-se que o templo foi dedicado a Mitra, o Deus do Sol.
O Charents Arch está localizado perto de Yerevan, entre o templo pagão de Garni e o complexo do mosteiro cristão de Geghard, na vila de Vokhchaberd. An individual tour was booked with her husband at the travel agency Jan Armenia. Driver Carlen arrived ahead of schedule, graciously placed a Mercedes in the interior. We were accompanied to all locations by Carlen and issued historical reports on them. The trip was very enjoyable, we brought with us a huge number of experiences. Armenia surprised with its flavor. We booked a one-day private tour covering Khor Virap Monastery, Azat Reservoir, Garni Temple, the Symphony of Stones, and Geghard Monastery, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The staff and responsible manager Luiza were very responsive on WhatsApp, answering all our questions promptly. On the day of the tour, our driver Davit was professional and shared interesting information about the sites. The brand-new vehicle with A/C and WiFi was a real lifesaver during the hot summer.
The driver was friendly and explained the history behind the multiple sites we have seen. We highly recommend :) adding a few characters to reach tripadvisor limit
